Be very carful working with this company. They get you to sign up with them and they say there going to do everything and you don't have to worry about anything.
To start off with i signed the contract with them in June and paid them three quarters of what i owe and i still don't have solar power. They are blaming everything on PG&E and PG&E is saying that the contractor did not do what was instructed them to do.
I have contacted SunOn many times and all they say is that there waiting for PG&E. I would think that if they had any customer service skills they would do something to keep the customer

I do not recommend getting solar panels from SunOn. We had ours installed through them after looking at all of their great reviews. After the installation, we received an email offering a $20 gift card for a 5 star review. Please do not put any weight into these other 5 star reviews.
I have since been trying to contact SunOn with questions about our solar panels for over a week and a half and have not been able to reach anyone. We deeply regret choosing SunOn and wish we had gone with a different solar company.

SCAM! Did a great job selling system to me and installing it, promised to return and review if it was working well, never did, now won't respond to emails or calls, our true up bill for 2020 was $5000.00 with PGE, this wasn't a good investment and we are not happy with their followup at all! We now wish we'd never done it.

We had solar panels installed on our home a couple of years ago. The SunOn staff is very knowledgeable and the techs jumped through all the hoops required by the city. They did a great job and we were happy with the outcome. A couple of weeks ago we had our house re roofed and we called SunOn to remove and replace them for us. They removed the panels quickly and had them replaced within a few days after the roof was finished. We are happy with the work they did for us and would recommend them to anyone looking for solar installation.

We had been wanting to get solar for awhile now and had had a couple solar companies come out to give us information. We were frustrated and very disappointed to say the least. It took me 2cyears to find decent solar company and installer. I ran across sun on solar and in an evening a after work I had all the paper work taken care of. 2weeks later they showed up in burney and had me installed and hooked up with permits in a day. I have friends that went with other company's with agreements 2/3 months prior and I got hooked up months before the did very please with this company SUN ON u ROCK

First off I would like to say that Sunon Energy installation employees are great and get the job's done with no problems.
Their Office Staff is a big problem with them with always making excuses on the timeframe for getting your installation done in a timely manner from the day you sign the contract. It took over 7 months for them to install our Backup Generator System and it took them months to pay the Sub Contractor that installed the Propane Tanks and Lines that feed the Backup Generator.
I have spent alot of money with them doing our Solar System and the Backup Generator System to the tune

Highly recommend this company, we had solar installed 5 years ago with another company that is no longer in business, we have had a few issues with our panels and they have taken care of us as if we bought from them. We did add another panel from them and they were here on time and took great care to respect our property, they also found that a couple of our panels were not placed properly and they are going to move them for us,

My experiences were nothing but great with Sun On Solar. They did an excellent installation, very clean and neat work and no 'trails' left behind like some contractors seem to do. As an after thought and when the PG&E power outages did in fact become reality I asked to have a transfer switch installed into the system which they did. Now, I no longer will need to be in 'the dark' so to speak when PG&E decides to cut power.
The system is working great and the transfer switch was installed as promised and looks good. I have not yet had the opportunity to try it out but

We contracted SunOn to do our residential solar installation after interviewing four installers. SunOn had a superior presentation, rich with information. I then called references which all gave good reports.
SunOn proceeded through all of the required steps including documents specifying the design details, city permits, and going through the city regulation process.
Installation took about 8 hours, most completed in one day with an hour of work the next morning. The installation was error free and done professionally.
I highly recommend SunOn.

Met with Larry Servis who was very helpful and informative about the services SunOn solar systems would provide if we decide to go with SunOn systems. I was referred to this company by my a family member. After having to jump through hoops to award my family member the 400.00 referral incentive they got very ugly. I'm so tired of dealing with a company that does not stand by the offers. We just bought a house in June of last year.
