Do not reccomend responsible solar as a reference. They say you will get 500 dollars per referral and they never pay you. Obviously its a scam since we never got payed for a full solar referral install in the northern California region. Apparently they went out of buisness and never contacted us or let us know. Beware of who you choose for solar.

I have had nothing but problems with the equipment they installed. They changed out the inverter, removed the batteries, disconnected the generator from the Power Panel. A Panel blew out and I found out the company doesnt even make that one any longer. Now I am paying for a system I dont even have. I get a Permanent Communication Fault often, they came out and did something in the inverter ( I have no idea what) and now they dropped off the face of the earth. What companies are others using for Servicing their units?

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness
Had my panels installed about 10 months ago... Storm came through about 2 weeks ago and my panels haven't worked since... I have tried calling them but is says their number is disconnected or no longer in service... Super weird.... Does anyone know what's going on? I thought we had a warranty for this kind of stuff...

We received a service from Responsible Solar quite a number of months ago. They haven’t finished the work yet and they will not return my phone calls. It’s a bummer because they started out so well I thought I was going to leave a good review. Unfortunately I still have sheet rock work that is unfinished and an unresolved issue with an eye sore on the side of my house.

I've had the opportunity to work with John Eddleman several times and must say that I'm always impressed by his professionalism and knowledge about the industry. I've worked with other companies over the years as well and none of them come close to Responsible Solar. I trust them so much that I referred my mom to have solar installed on her house, and she is thrilled. I'm closing escrow on a house in Red Bluff in a couple weeks and already have John's crew set to install a system once escrow closes.

We were very happy with our experience with Responsible Solar. They were very good at explaining the process, and they coordinated the permit process and PGE quite well. We appreciated the updates we received along the way. The installers were quick and efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. A very pleasant process.

Responsible Solar sold us on the idea that we would be able to pay off a sizable portion of our system off with a tax credit. However this was not true. The money did not come as they stated and now we are stuck paying significantly more for our eletric bill than we would have if we stayed with our municipal utility. They are anything but responsible.
