A lil late with the review but Albert did a great job with our hardwood floors in Feb! He was on time with his appt, masked and very professional. We met with several companies and Albert seemed the most honest and straightforward. On the initial walk through, he let us know our floors weren't that bad (Which we totally agreed--another company tried to get us to totally refinish while only seeing it via FaceTime!), so it only needed a more superficial polishing and a few coats. The job took about 2 days to allow for drying. After he was done, we noticed there were a few small missed spots

Albert was fantastic, very responsive, and gave a very competitive quote. Our floors were in bad shape after we bought a new house in Monrovia. 30 years of damage had been done but Albert saved them and got them looking fantastic again. There were some hiccups along the way (caused by us) but he handled them easily. Would recommend him to anyone looking for refinishing of hardwood in the SGV.

We heard about Albert and MD Hardwood from reviews on our local Nextdoor site. Everyone had great things to say about his company. He responded to our call the same day and came out to review the job within a couple of days. He provided an estimate and his availability date and both were exactly what he said. Albert recently refinished my Brazilian cherry floors. I needed it done in a short time window and he was accommodating, thorough, and did a wonderful job. The floors were installed incorrectly leading to a lot of cracks that needed to be filled. He did a great job filling, sanding, and then refilling to make them smooth and even. Quick response from Albert from my initial contact to repolish my floors! He stopped by, did a site visit and walked us through what had to be done to bring our floors back. In addition, he also helped us install some shoe molding in two rooms. We had a small laundry area and asked if he could help install some baseboards that we already had. Very prompt and clean work! Highly recommend, Albert even returned the next day to remove some shoe molding in area that we forgot to tell him to avoid doing. Thank you again!!

I was searching for a good floor installer and read great reviews about Albert, so I decided to give him a try. I was in the process of having my home remodeled. I have bamboo floors throughout my home and they are extremely hard to refinish. MD floors did a great job. Albert gave me a reasonable price and stuck to his timeline so I could coordinate the furniture being taken out and the other vendors being done. Its been two weeks since he left and I am as pleased as I was the day he finished the job. This was a difficult job and many other vendors told me the same but I felt by dealing with the owner and not a salesman, that I would get exactly what I was promised.

I just got a house this month. It has hardwood flooring for the whole house except kitchen and bathrooms. The flooring itself doesn't look too bad. Still I'm a picky person who wants the floor looks clean and can last much longer. As we are in a rush to move in, I requested a quote on yelp and see if anyone can help me out. Albert responded quickly and said that he could do an in-person inspection. Nice! He came on time and explained to me the current floor condition. Definitely deserves 5 star reviews. Albert is truly an expert in staining floors and he also personally makes sure the quality is maintained at the highest level. I have been wanting to finish my hardwood floors for 25 years and kept putting it off because it's a lot of work and time and patience. I finally plunged into the project and contacted Albert @ MD Hardwood floors and asked for an estimate. I had 2 other guys also give me a estimate and hands down Albert was competitive and got the job. He was on time, fast, efficient and the floors look amazing. I wish I had known of his work sooner.
