The Kohler Construction team recently completed a repair project in our master bathroom. We had quite a few contractors come over to try to identify the root issue and make an estimate, and Brian was by far the most helpful. This project entailed waterproofing a leaky bathtub, replacing shower tile, adding a niche shelf, and fixing ceiling drywall.
Overall, Brian's expertise and communicativeness made the project easy for us. His pricing was competitive and he offered several pricing tiers. His entire team was professional and very respectful of our home--we appreciated that they worked

These guys were great. Worked with Dustin and Brian on a seismic retrofit job on an apartment building and they were wonderful throughout the entire process. They did not charge excessively for changes and had great workers (especially David Franco) and subs that completed the project in a way that exceeded my expectations. They handled the City inspectors well. Thanks Brian and Dustin, great job and well deserved five stars!

I wish I could write a review of their work, but - after wasting my time setting the appointment and being home for their estimate - I never heard from Brian again. Emailed, texted, just one text back 'I've been very busy, will have the estimate out to you tomorrow'; that was over two weeks ago, and I never got one, and never heard from him again.

Brian and his team (mostly David) remodeled my master bath in October 2017. I was kind of dreading it, but they made it relatively painless. There were hiccups along the way, but I really appreciated how rationally Brian handled them. For example, when I raised my concern about a spot on the floor that was higher than other parts, they evened it out without trying to convince me that I was just imagining it. I felt confident that as long as I was reasonable, I would get a very reasonable response. The final product turned out beautifully, actually a little better than the picture I had in my head

We have experienced some very disappointing "contractors" in the past on a few different properties. not surprising that they are not on Yelp to warn others of them. ( how they ended up with them in our house is still a mystery). Brian really helped me out. I needed a price estimate for a project I'm working on and it seemed I couldn't get a hold of any contractors. He responded fast to me and was able to meet up with me within a few days.
Today we met up and he was extremely knowledgeable and I was really happy to have his help. His approach was more of a "how to make things work and save money" which was exactly what I needed. We hired Kohler Construction to change our backyard slope (which was covered in trees, plants, and weeds) to a multi-tiered hardscape with a deck, artificial turf, and a concrete pad for a hot tub. They did a very nice job and we are happy with the work. They went beyond the scope of the project and even fixed a couple of things that weren't part of the project. The reason for the four star rating is because at times, there was lack of communication (within the crew as well as between the crew and us). We bought a fixer upper and hired Brian Kohler to help with some piping and drywall work. After a fantastic experience, we hired him two more times to do bathroom upgrades and then to redo our ceilings (adding insulation and installing new drywall in the entire house.) Each time, Brian and his crew worked like Energizer bunnies. Projects were completed on time and with great attention to detail from start to finish. He always listened and brainstormed ideas with us in the planning phase but never with the goal of upselling us to make more money. His suggestions always kept our budget in mind and

I hired Brian to do some updating in my bathroom and install some ceiling fans. Brian responded and scheduled time to meet for a quote immediately and within a few days his crew had started on the job. As is often the case the "simple" 2 day job turned into 4 days. However Brian kept to his contracted quote which was very reasonable for the work that was done. He also provided suggestions on ways to accomplish some other updates at a reasonable price. His crew was neat and courteous and paid attention to all details. I am keeping Brian's contact info handy for the next job

I hired Brian for a corner tub replacement/whirpool upgrade. His team did an excellent job! Although the job itself only took a day, he was willing to come out several times for no extra charge. I was a bit paranoid about buying the correct tub for the space, and he was able to be on hand to confirm dimensions when I purchased the replacement tub. Also, his whole team was ready to go when the replacement tub that I ordered arrived...only for us all to find out that the tub had been damaged during the freight delivery. So I'm sure that was disappointing for his team since a day of scheduled

We've used Kohler Construction many times for projects not only at our house but also as a referral source. Being in Real Estate myself it can be difficult to find good contractors that you can depend on to get the job done and do it right. Brian demonstrates great vision for his projects and above all he has integrity, if he says he's going to do something he makes it happen. He is also very reasonably priced for the quality of work he produces. 5 stars for Brian and his team and I'd highly recommend him to anyone.

I've hired Brian Kohler of Kohler Construction several times over the past few years for projects around my house and I keep going back to him because he does amazing work! He's passionate about what he does, listens, and also offers suggestions on how to improve a space for the better. His attention to detail is on point, he's a great electrician, and an overall amazing contractor. He also goes above and beyond to make sure the space is cleaned up after too--which is one of the most important parts for me :)
