Services
Achen-Gardner Construction is a company with modest beginnings. With a lot of hard work and a focus on long-lasting, quality relationships with our clients, we have grown to be one of the most successful heavy civil contractors in Arizona. In 1989, the company started as an Engineering Division of Achen-Gardner, Inc.
Dan possesses all of the necessary experience and knowledge to participate and understand all phases of any project.

His years in the southwest area construction industry, impressive background as a registered professional civil engineer, and grass roots experience having held positions ranging from project engineer to project superintendent to design phase manager have enabled him to effectively evaluate the construction methods and management systems at Achen-Gardner in order to achieve new levels of excellence.
Working in and around live traffic every day requires planning and a diligent approach to safety. In the past five years, Achen-Gardner has installed more than one million lineal feet of wet utilities and more than one million square yards of pavement within the public right of way and active traffic environments.
Since our modest beginnings in 1989 we have completed thousands of projects and built countless relationships in the public and private sectors, and we are honored to be an integral part of the growth of Arizona. Our company's founders and early management teams established the principles that have led to our success over the years.
For Achen-Gardner Construction and its employees, giving back means many things. It means fiscal responsibility during turbulent times, generosity toward our community, and a willingness to step out into local neighborhoods to share our passion and enthusiasm. We believe in giving back to our employees and the communities where we live, work and play.

Report
The operator of one of their trucks pulled up to the gas pumps and proceeded to go get ice, opened two bottles and swished the cooler out and then dumped the water in the cooler out on the ground in front of the gas pumps so that anyone who wanted to get gas would have to deal with the wet pavement. This man did not get gasoline; he blocked both sets of gas pumps in that row. When he exited the pump area, he took a sharp left in front of cars trying to exit the grocery store aisle.
