After a month of in depth research in to the entire hand-scraped wood floor market, David found a local niche for hand scrapped hardwood floors in Frisco Texas with very FEW really qualified/experienced crews/companies to conduct the installations of hardwood flooring.

DFW Custom Wood Floors can re-coat your natural hard wood floors in a new coating of polyurethane (oil or water) to restore the original sheen as long as the floors are in good clean condition.
Some floors we see have been cleaned with products such as Simply Orange or Orange Glow or Murphy's oil which can make wood floors look shiny but can actually damage your top poly coat to where we may not be able to re-coat your floors in a new polyurethane.With one look we will know if we can or cannot re-coat your floors.

Had an additional room installed with hardwood flooring. I am very impressed with quality and workmanship of David’s team. The communication was excellent as I was informed throughout the progress via text and phone. His crew was prompt and completed the job in a timely and professional manner.
I also really appreciated the detail that went into the process. Our original wood floor color matching was quite the challenge. Long story short, the color matching is practically seamless. David and his crew could have rushed, but they made sure that the color was spot on and the job was done right

I reached out to David because I received conflicting information from a different wood company who had installed wood flooring in a new build home. Essentially different people in that company were telling me different things, which made it impossible for me to know who to believe. I found David with a google search, and he is amazing. He provided me with a detailed description of why my floors are in great shape, and an explanation of the entire process and what things would concern him if he had seen them in my home. It was a relief to get an outside opinion, and trust that he had no reason
