In 2006, Richard Wallace Builder, Inc. relocated from Raleigh to Carolina Beach, bringing 40 years of homebuilding experience and a vast amount of construction knowledge, right here to the coastal communities of Southeastern North Carolina. Inspired by the natural shoreline, our building plans often incorporate coastal elements such as lanais, breezy porches, relaxing spa spaces, and always, open-air living spaces.
At Richard Wallace Builder, Inc., we are passionate about creating quality homes that exceed customer expectations. After move-in, we continue to work with our homeowners and provide any needed customer service. A one-year warranty on workmanship based on the National Association of Homebuilder's Performance Guidelines.
The team at RWB, Inc. appreciates the faith customers have placed in us. Our pledge to deliver a superior quality home and make the process stress-free and enjoyable is paramount. For us to continue to improve the building experience, we contract an independent survey company, Guild Quality, to obtain client feedback several times throughout the building process as well as at the 1-year anniversary in the home.

June of 2018 my wife and I took possession of our Beach Home at 100 Periwinkle Lane in Carolina Beach from the careful craftsmen of Richard Wallace Builders. We had previously purchased spec homes but never went from land and concept to architect/builder, it was a bit scary. That's when we met the team at RWB. Richard, the owner, Ann, the CFO and… frankly our now good friend with whom we collaborated on several key decisions, Greg, our construction manager and Perry Cox, our architect. We went crazy on this build, from Geothermal to Solar to a Hung Steel Staircase to Trex Decking to Cable

RWB involved us in the design of the house and selection of features. The quality of workmanship and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. They listened attentively to what we wanted in our dream home and provided detailed explanations of possible options rather than a list of limited choices. The custom millwork, including shiplap and a special built-in bookcase, give our beach cottage a unique style. The hurricane windows are an RWB standard and the roof membrane enabled us to obtain the Hurricane Fortified Gold designation which provides significant savings on our Wind & Hail insurance

You cannot go wrong with Richard Wallace Builder. You will find Richard to be very knowledgeable with extensive experience. We moved into our new home that Richard and Greg built for us in February of this year. He is very honest and seeks to build the very best home he can build for you. He let us know what he was going to provide and delivered better than we could have imagined. He listened very thoughtfully to what we desired in our home and boy did he deliver. RWC did an amazing job building our townhouse on Carolina Beach. They were very reasonable with their prices, stayed on budget, and were done in the time they quoted us. They were totally transparent through out the whole process and were are very pleased. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy contractor.

We live in a Richard Wallace built home, and love it. So when we wanted to have the carport enclosed to a garage, we contacted Richard Wallace Builder. Richard and Greg Wallace more than satisfied our expectations. Everyone who sees our new garage enclosure comments on how nice it looks. We always tell them that Richard Wallace Builder did the job. While we are very impressed with every part of the work performed, I think the paint and finish was exceptional.
