JustDoors.com is a long established (over 10 years) website that has been helping people source and fit replacement kitchen doors. Our philosophy is simple; provide our clients with quotes for high quality, affordable replacement kitchen (and bedroom) doors. We hope you find our videos useful. Although we make it look easy, it really is something you can try yourself.
It is normal to make the door/drawer slightly smaller than the unit it is going to fit on. For example, a carcass that is 720mm high and 500mm wide, would have a door 715mm high and 496mm wide. This allows for a small gap around the door, otherwise all the doors and drawers would be touching. The cost for a budget kitchen replacement order to the above specifications inc' vat would be 390 depending in hole drilling and colour selection.
Of course, if you are looking for a rough quote for some replacement kitchen doors or bedroom doors for that matter, then our form is the best way forward. You can also ask for colour samples on there. All we need in order to send out samples are the colours (see our colour charts) and your name and address etc.
We regularly replace the internal drawers when we refurbish a kitchen. The new drawers are constructed with metal sides and runners, with a contibord base and rear. It's a straightforward task. You can either buy drawers ready made, with the base and rear already fitted, or you can just purchase the metal sides so that you can supply and fit your own base and rear.
Remember: When refurbishing your kitchen you don't have to replicate what you have already got. If you've got a unit with a door on, you can change it to a drawer unit, by ordering drawer fronts and fitting internal drawer boxes. Or, you can alter the way a door opens by moving the hinges to the opposite side on the replacement door.
