In a beautiful Santa Barbara setting, Zen Door recently installed shoji doors for a Japanese whiskey bar in a resident's lush, back-garden setting, complete with a Saruhashi-style bridge. Zen Door enhanced the entrance jamb with some custom trim and casing work. The finish is glossy maple. A homeowner rebuilding after the Thomas Fire retained Zen Door to build wave pattern shoji for a passage door to a large den.

I have ELEVEN Zen Door designed doors in my home.... each one as unique as the next. I have found John to be not only professional and meticulous in his craftsmanship, but exceptionally well in communicating. Several of the doors involved a flare of my creativity and John grasped my vision and brought it to fruition.

We asked John to design a sliding door to separate our laundry room from the kitchen. We also asked for a door to enclosed some open shelves. He came up with the design and made two doors matching our existing cabinets. The results were outstanding. He was a true professional and was true to his word on cost and schedule. I would highly recommend John if you are in the market for similar doors.
