Services
Nothing transforms your yard and adds privacy like the look and feel of a wall-topper or privacy fence. These are typically 2 feet tall and made of tongue in groove fence boards that we stain prior to assembly. They can be built on top of concrete block walls, and stained in your desired color. These privacy fences make your yard feel like an outdoor room.

As noted when submitting a bid request, it can take a day or two for a reply, which makes sense for a busy business run by a sole proprietor.

Peter's work was impeccable. He responded to our inquiries quickly, answered our questions on what doors to buy patiently and always showed up when he promised and brought materials to keep his work area clean. He helped add doors to a previously open doorway and replace our backyard doors and did both jobs quickly (in one case faster than he predicted!) but also left our home spotless after.

10/10! Pete is amazing. No nonsense, honest, reliable. I had a troublesome pocket door that I hated for years! Just days after becoming homeowners again and moving into a new place, 'human error' meant we had a "pivot" door issue that needed to be taken care of. I found Peter through Yelp. He was flexible enough to pick up a door I had ordered close to his home, per his suggestion, to replace a door broken by a tenant. He worked the door slab on the sidewalk as working outside of the apartment may have been problematic with the neighbors. He was done within the hour even though the door I had ordered was not the proper thickness. He made it fit without much visible irregularities. I wish he could've painted the door as well but Peter doesn't do finish work.

Great experience with Pete and his install buddy Bruce.
Note only did Pete do the install but he acted as a consulted for months as we looked for the right door, hardware, etc. It was a long journey (not because of Pete but because of our search for the right door) but we got it done. Pete was always very helpful with our millions of questions, always has a nice attitude. It was funny, during the install, I overheard him talking to prospective customers and he was being just as helpful and understanding while tell them he was in the middle of a job.

After unsuccessfully working with with several other door companies and installers, I found LA DOORS AND MORE and AMERICAN WINDOW & DOOR, INC. on YELP. Using YELP messaging and email I was able to send both businesses photos, measurements, etc. From my first contact with Peter at LA DOORS AND MORE and Norma at AMERICAN WINDOW & DOOR my project was completed in eight days. Peter was able to accurately diagnose the problem with my door from my description of the problem and my pictures. He gave me a cost and time estimate and both were right on. He communicated with me in a timely manner when we were scheduling the job. He was on time and was friendly and answered all of my questions and addressed any concerns. He did a great job!

I live in an HOA complex and decided not to go with our approved vendors. Peter was an excellent choice - he was quickly responsive, communicative, courteous, and helpful with recommendations for where to buy a new door and hardware (as per our HOA regulations) to go with it. The new door he installed looks fantastic, and he spent some time making sure it fit properly in not-perfectly aligned doorway. Most of all I appreciated his honesty and professional integrity when I asked him about another problematic door in my condo, which he said didn't need any worrying about!

When I initially contacted him I left a message on an answering machine, no response. Then I emailed through the website and received a reply a couple of days later saying he's booked for the following two weeks. I contacted him again after that time period. He suggested he'd come by the following day between 4-6pm. I confirmed but he never showed up. Still haven't heard back from him since.
In the meantime the work has been completed by a wonderful craftsman, who was very responsive, reliable and punctual. Three qualities I couldn't attribute

We had Peter replace a very old and janky exterior door, lock, and hinges, and he did a perfect job! Everything is hung correctly and precisely, very solid and works smoothly, and looks great.

We needed a new main door so I went to yelp and look for the door installation near me. I found LA Doors and More, read the reviews and called their phone number. Peter did a great job replacing our old, splitting, unsightly, side kitchen door with a beautiful new door. He was on time, polite, and cleaned up real well. He also repaired our back French doors. Peter is unprofessional, and apparently lazy. Before anything else, I asked if he does services in Downtown LA, to which he said yes. He claimed he was familiar with the building I was in. I just wanted to get some hardware installed to help dampen the sound outside our door. We had all the hardware ordered, we just wanted a professional to put it together.
