Update from 3/7/2021. I'm having insulation blown into my attic so I decided to check the the line insulation from my new air handler to the compressor. I found a couple of additional turds floating in my AC system punchbowl. 1) Hometown failed to check or notice that my line insulation was so old that it was crumbling off the line and 2) the lines running between the two units hadn't been replaced with new lines. I'm not sure what protocol is but when I paid for a new system, I expect the entire system to be replaced. My lines are in my attic and poor insulation on refrigerant lines

Just to preface, I usually only leave reviews on Yelp if I have a really good experience. Our AC went down without any warning on what felt like the hottest day this year so far and my husband who is pretty handy couldn't figure out why. We called around and this was the first company that actually honored my appointment and showed up when they said they would. Ron was our guy and he was very professional and didn't try to rush through the visit making sure that we understood exactly what was going on and how he could fix it. Thankfully all we ended up having to pay was a service charge
