Since we opened our Company in 1986, we had one idea that made more sense than all of the other theories, lessons and protocols that existed in the Architectural World. Build our Designs on behalf of our Clients. It seems frightfully simple and logical, but the typical format of the time was; hire an architect to design your Project, find a contractor to build it at a set price, and finally get it done.
We developed a format that did not have fees set on percentages; instead, we set up a system to buy trades as you needed them to avoid guesswork and finally, gave Clients the ability to buy as much, or as little of our services as they required based on hourly rates. Andrew Wright is the president of Wright Architects, PLLC (since 1986) based in Kingston, NY.
Prior to opening his own firms, he worked for Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in Chicago, IL; Ittner & Bowersox in St. Louis, MO; Hellmuth, Obata and Kassabaum in New York City. He obtained a Masters in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and an undergraduate degree in Architecture from Iowa State University.
