Scott's Hardwood specializes in refinishing hardwood floors, installation of hardwood, engineered and laminate floors, repairing hardwoods, custom staining of floors, staircase installations, mosaic back splashes and tile floors. Some customers prefer to do a simple prefinished floor. This takes a bit of the craftsman out of the equation but I still enjoy working with wood.

Previous homeowner thought it would be a good idea to paint the hardwoods because of pet urine. Then covered the floors with carpet. I bet they never thought the floor could be this nice. Just leave it to a professional and it could. Oh and by the way, this is the type of stuff that makes me love what I do.
Scott is a Master -very attentive to details. The restoration/refinishing of the floors and transitions is beautiful. People see the before and after and are blown away every time. I can't say enough and it looks like I won't be able to post pictures so you will have to refer to his home page for photos I am sure he will have posted.

Did a fantastic job. Invasion of chipmunks in the bedroom gave us the idea to replace the carpet with something better. (Finally) picked a vinyl laminate plank we both like from CFM. Pick baseboards and painted them. Scott installed in two days. 3 day job as the concrete floor had a raised edge and crack that had to be chiseled down first.
We are very happy with the final product and totally recommend Scott. We'll call him again for the next room. :)
