I had an emergency situation that required secondary railings to be installed in my home. It was for the safety of my 94 year old mother who had fallen outside the house and could not use her right arm - therefore could not get down the stairs safely as there was no railing on the side of her usable arm. Mr Kim came out immediately to take a look at our needs and within a little over a week installed the most beautiful railing that enhances the beauty of our home.
The workmen did an absolutely outstanding job...the railings are a piece of art but most importantly my mother now feels safe using

I hired a contractor to do several things for my house, one of which was to add a handrail to my front steps. One of the FEW good things they did was find these guys as a sub-contractor for that railing.
My home is from 1940 and has existing iron work with a unique design around the front porch. MIW was able to create a step railing designed and scaled to the original work, very much enhancing the functionality and maintaining the esthetic of my home.

We just bought a new home and wanted to install electric wrought iron gates for the safety of our child. However, our project was major since we wanted 2 different electric gates on uneven landscaping with additional iron fencing to tie it all in. The previous owner gave us some estimates from his contractor, but we wanted higher premium quality work. After researching a few quotes on our own, I contacted James from Modern Iron Works and hired him the same day. He knew exactly what we wanted and how to proceed in the most cost effective way. Mr Jimmy Kim, came to my house 4/9/2013 for a Security bar installation. Kim took no haste in cashing my $700 deposit on Thursday 4/11/2013. 4/16/2013 I called Mr KIm to find out when the work was going to get started since he already cashed my check and work hasn't began.....His reply was "maybe Wed, or Thursday". 4/17-18. I'm not happy with how business is being conducted so I gave him 2 choices; Come by and do $700 worth of work (my deposit) or simply return my funds. The guy told me he was going to put a lien on my funds until he was paid in full! Its already been a
