Founded in 1945 by Frank Mallek, Tri-City was purchased by Denis and Carole Virnig in 1974. Denis and Carole owned Tri-City Services since 1974, over half of Tri-City's life. Since Denis' passing in late 2009, two of their three children, who grew up in the business, now operate the business. Andrea (Virnig) Jensen is President and General Manager, Scott Virnig is Vice-President and Senior Service Technician.
Andrea grew up in the family business and joined the business full time after graduating from UW-Stevens Point with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Andy started his career in HVAC in 1997 after attending Milwaukee Area Technical College for HVAC. He has 24 years of experience and is a great asset to our team.

Karl did a great job. I can’t say enough good about Karl or Tricity. Our geothermal system was only 13 years old and installed by another company in Wausau. One of the main parts wore out and Karl was so knowledgeable and was able to replace the part and get it up and running. Thank you!
