Boone Low Ratliff Architects, Inc. is an award-winning firm that performs a variety of architectural and planning commissions, and seeks those projects that are challenging and have the potential for creative solutions. The firm is now a corporation. Jacquelyn Low and Monica Ratliff have more than thirty years of professional experience in architectural project planning, development, design and construction.

Approximately 50% of the firm's work is in housing, including remodels and additions to existing structures, new single-family residences, and multiple family housing development projects. Other experience includes master planning and feasibility studies for non-profit organizations, private schools, churches, libraries, and facilities for government and institutional clients.

Jacquelyn Low AIA, LEED AP BD+C has over 25 years experience in the architectural profession from master planning to custom residential design. After having worked large bay area architecture firms, she moved to Santa Cruz in 1988.
Services
We provide full architectural services from preliminary design through to building completion, including permit applications, CAD drawings, 3D modeling & renderings, contract documentation, consultant coordination and construction administration. Initial client consultation at the site to become familiar with the client's goals, objectives and the project site.

After 25 years in the church on Van Ness, Boone Low Ratliff Architects is moving! We have a great new space in the old Wrigley building on the Westside. The repurposed Wrigley gum factory is now a thriving community of creators, artists, designers and makers. The uniquely large factory spaces are ideal for a variety of creative outlets, including Santa Cruz bikes and even the USGS.
