Our aging heater was failing to ignite, and thanks to Yelp, we found Mechpros with excellent ratings and called them. Paul responded to our call very quickly and diagnosed the problem. He warned us that the parts might be hard to find for our old unit, but he would do his best to locate them. He did find the right parts after calling SIX different distributors and was able to get them installed very quickly. One of the things I really appreciated was that Paul showed me how to light the burners myself, so I was able to get up in the morning and fire up the heater so that the house was nice

After inspecting HVAC, Paul provided recommendations on self maintenance and even tested carbon monoxide detector. Installed new thermostat, connected to wifi and went through set up process on mobile app. Answered all my questions and let me know what needed to be replaced in future. I had a different company come out to fix my ac unit they said they did we continued to have problems I then called MechPro they came out and literally showed us what the problem was I needed a new unit they were able to do it in a very timely manner and very cost effective. All employees were Very professional they made sure everything was cleaned up and I was satisfied before leaving. We will NOT use anyone else from here on in.

We wanted to switch out our thermostat to a Nest and we contacted Paul from Mechpros. He was very responsive from the start and the next day, their technician Patrick came out. He worked on the job for hours but ultimately found out that there was a malfunction with the product itself. He advised us to get an Ecobee thermostat and said he would come back to install it. We did just that and now it is working great! Along the way, he also discovered a wasp nest in our furnace and helped us get rid of it and seal the opening. My husband did a little diagnosing and rather than have Paul come straight out, we asked to have a phone call with him just so he wouldn't waste his time driving here if we just needed to order something first. I contact yelp yesterday about a quote on a start up for a new Hvac system that I am attempting to install myself. Paul was the first one to respond. Not only was his professionalism on display right from the start, but after receiving several other responses. Paul's was by far the best . He scheduled an appointment for today at 10 AM. He showed up exactly at 10 AM. He was very knowledgeable, and spent time with me explaining to me the wiring as well as the suction and liquid line set. Paul and Patrick are the best. We needed to replace and upgrade two furnaces in an 100yr old house and Paul came through with a proposal that was forward looking (dual fuel heat pump, air conditioning, full house air filtration (cuz fires and smoke are now a thing in CA) rather than retrospective (replace and carry on). Had a AC problem at a rental unit on a very hot day. Tenants have 2 small children so I needed a quick solution, MechPros to the rescue! They got to the home quickly and completed the job in an hour. Good communication when they would arrive, and a nice follow up when the job was completed.

Solomon Irving was absolutely helpful in fixing my central heater. For the past 2 weeks, my heater wasn't working and my house was at ambient (45-50 Fahrenheit) temperature. Solomon came at the scheduled time and quickly identified the problem: a dirty filter. He bought the parts he needed, for $49, and waived the service fee.
I highly recommend them for any future work I need for my air conditioner and heater. I'll only choose someone else if they're not available.

Friday night my heater stopped blowing out hot air. In the middle of January. In the middle of El Niño. In the middle of a rainstorm.
I got Paul's number from a friend who was more than pleased with his work in the past. I called him Saturday morning and within an hour he arrived at my house and diagnosed the problem.
Unfortunately, the suppliers for the parts are all closed over the weekend. Ya know...things only break on the week days between 9-5.

They were extremely professional, (trustworthy) listened to our concerns, punctual and did the work in a timely fashion. They work with you as much as they can. I installed heat and the duct work first last winter and during the spring they installed our AC unit.
I highly recommend to anyone.
