Such an amazing transformation, beyond my expectations. This crystal chandelier was an inheritance piece from my paternal grandmother - remember it fondly from my childhood but have never seen the casting look this good, as new I would think. Guesstimating Sweden, circa 1920-1930's. The patience and care to restore it was nothing short of extraordinary - Thank you!!! Before and after, will let you guess which is which.

Incredibly professional and knowledgeable. We brought an old lamp in to get the cord repaired, and not only did he do that, but he also noticed the part the bulb screws into was corroded and fixed that. We contacted J&C Lighting for replacement shades for our chandelier. From the beginning, Celia Soto Hay was very helpful and patient and raised some factors that we had not considered in designing our custom shades. Her knowledge and experience were very beneficial as we selected our custom material. I brought in what I thought was probably a completely destroyed lamp that had snapped at the metal base. Not only did they fix it in less than a day but you can't even tell it was broken. And they made it sturdier than it was before. After this I would highly recommend them to everyone.

J and C Lighting refinished a brass floor lamp pitted beyond salvage, I thought!
When it was returned, I was amazed. It looks like a new lamp. I was particularly delighted because lamps like it are impossible to buy now.
A table lamp that I had repaired recently is now stable, with a socket that is secure, not wobbly.
I urge you to have your lamps repaired here. You won't be disappointed, and you won't have to shop for new lamps.

Excellent lamp repair service! I am so happy to have found Jorge and Cecilia. J&C was able to fix my problematic touch-control bedside lamps-- after two other shops had told me that they were unable to do it! J&C offered friendly, professional service, they completed the work in less than a day, and the price was reasonable. When I requested that they transform my lamps from touch control to a switch controller, they listened to me and gave me a couple of options to chose from. Plus they gave advice on the proper bulb to purchase so as to avoid future problems. I will definitely be coming

My old floor lamp, originating from Europe needed repair. J & C Lighting was recommended by one of the lamp stores. Jorge did an wonderful job, not only carrying out the requested repair, but even replacing some of the lost small parts and fixing the scratches in the paint of one of the shades, in fact restoring my old lamp to it's original appearance, without my asking for it. Highly recommended.

I am so grateful to have found this place. They took excellent care of my antique "Gone With The Wind" lamp. This is a family heirloom and something I adore. They cleaned the glass and gave the electrical system an overall. They switched out the old plug, socket and bulb for a new, safe LED light. It's like a new lamp again! I highly recommend them!!

Definitely worth the drive from Temecula! We needed a Hubbardton Forge lamp rewired and repaired and wanted to make sure it was done right. Within 1 week it was repaired/rewired to perfection and is back on the end table in our music room. . J & C Lighting has gained 2 more loyal customers!

I was extremely pleased with the level and quality of service I received at J&C Lighting. The dimming control on my table top lap would become very hot when when it was on the low setting. It was a very expensive lamp that I really like, so I wanted it to operate correctly and safely. I had taken the lamp to two different repair places over the past several months and although they claimed to have fixed the problem, it would still overheat on the low dim setting.

My friend (who also needed her lamp repaired) and I arrived at J&C light at approximately 10:30 AM. on a Thursday.

I am a fan of this company.
I started with an old lamp that needed repair that I couldn't just discard.
With out any fuss , they repaired the lamp ( an expensive lamp). I than had some hard lamp shades on other lamps that had cracks and breaks. Same thing , they researched and found a solution as well as slightly modified my existing lamps to make sure everything fit and were structurally correct. I went back again to have a dimmer on a floor lamp repaired. In addition several lamps on sale our now on my list to get eventually. They go the extra mile.

Complete restoration of antique brass Chinese lamp. It looked fabulous! For about the 12th time, Celia and Jorge of J&C Lighting have rewired a vintage chandelier or lamp for us. This time was very different though! I'm going to say this in ALL CAPS so that my fellow Yelpers understand how important this is:

DO NOT ASSUME THAT "REWIRED" ITEMS THAT YOU PURCHASE FROM EBAY, ETSY, OR AT AN ANTIQUE STORE ARE PROPERLY AND SAFELY REWIRED

I inherited several valuable antique lamps that needed extensive repairs - new wiring, new sockets, lamp shades, etc. I accidentally dropped and broke the ceramic base on one of these lamps as I was bringing it into the shop for the electrical refurbishing! Jorge picked up all the many pieces of broken ceramic and said not to worry, he could fix it like new. When I picked it up I was absolutely amazed, it was beautiful and put back together in perfect condition! I could not even tell where he repaired the broken base, he is a genius! J & C Lighting does beautiful work, Jorge is a gifted artisan

Celia (probably the "C" in J & C lighting) was a delight to work with on the repair of a chandelier.

They gave me a good estimate and had it it repaired as fast as lightning! They went above and beyond cleaning it thoroughly. It sparkles now.

I will come here again for any repairs and to shop. They have a large variety of lamps and ceiling fans. Fun place and great people.

These people were professional, front desk to repair. My lamps now have 3 way brass sockets, secured top to bottom and protective felt on the base. The price was very reasonable.
I now have 2 functioning pieces of art lamps that can be passed from one generation to the the next. Thank you!
