When I first moved to Redwood City I didn't know where to go for storage. I looked at almost all the other storage places in the area. I read the other reviews and.despite what people said, I decided to go there anyway. I'm glad I did. Yes the prices are high but no higher than any of the other storages I looked at. Everything about Bay Area Storage stood out. It's spotless, well maintained and the manager Christy is so nice. Thanks for the great service.

I chose this storage facility for its location as well as the positive reviews on Yelp (I work close by so it was easy for me to move items and then head into the office). Anthony, the manager, was very friendly and helpful. The area is secure and easy to enter and exit (and thankfully they had a drive-up unit available, which is what I needed). I also very much appreciated being able to rent their box truck for my move, for free ($500 deposit, refunded when I returned the truck full of gas and free of damage). That saved me a LOT of time and money, especially since I could pick up and return the

Margaret was AWESOME!!! I actually made the mistake of thinking she was the owner because she was so courteous and seemed to really care. She, of course, corrected me very quickly and told me that she was not and they the owners had multiple locations. All I can say is that if the actual owners continue to employ more people like Margaret, then it is likely that they will eventually own even more facilities. This was my first time renting a storage unit and I wanted to find the best place. After reading most reviews I almost changed my mind but then I found Bay Area Self Storage which had amazing reviews and was near by. After talking with Maggie at the front office and seeing how safe and secure the units are I felt completely comfortable putting my things in storage. Every unit has a security alarm and there are cameras everywhere so I feel safe and I don't worry about my things. It is also a very nice and clean facility. Still extremely happy with this location and with Kathy and Frank and their staff. I wanted to mention that they are right off the freeway so although they are 8 miles from my home office it's more convenient than other storage facilities which aren't so freeway accessible. I travel frequently on business so I have it set up where they will receive items shipped to me and place them in my unit. It all works flawlessly.

We rented a large storage room with curb access for 8 years here. Very convenient entry & exit from the property. Property managers are always kind and friendly. My last day was today. I was able to clean out the last remaining items & terminate without any hassles even when I didn't provide any advance notice. Thank you again.

This place is amazing.
The guy who serviced is was so nice. He treated us politely and smiled almost the whole time. He took us to all the sizes they offered, and he told us the prices for each of them. He even told us about the A Sale at a different storage place that brought down a 10x15 from $200 a month to $157 a month! The people here are so great. Honestly.

I visited several other local storage places before choosing Bay Area Self Storage on Bernal. This place rocks them all! The couple managing the place are friendly, helpful, and live on site. The place is immaculate, quiet, and there are individual alarms for each unit as well as cameras everywhere. As a woman, I appreciate that there are no dark hidden cooridors and no "tenants" using the storage area as a construction hut as I saw at another local storage place.

OMG, this place is awesome! The family home had to be closed down due to my parent's death and the house went up for sale. I called around ALL over the place, we inspected nearby and faraway places and NONE impressed us more than Bay Area Self-Storage. It's close to the folk's home making it easy to get help moving in from friends and locals. Professional, friendly, clean, super clean, security system well in place, no historical incidences, yes it cost a bit more than what I could get elsewhere but honestly why wouldn't you entrust things with someone you absolutely 100% trust

These guys were great! I really didn't want to rent a storage unit but had no choice after moving from a house to a condo (down sized) and eventually back to a house. The place was clean, easy to access and the couple who managed the place were super nice and professional (and I love their dog)

This is the only place I go to when I need to rent some storage. They have been very helpful, polite and never try to rip me off. They make sure I am getting the best deal they have to offer. Even my kids love this place! They always want to go with me when I need to go. They love kids here & they have a very, very friendly dog who loves kids just as much! =]

I have been using storage facilities for a good portion of my life for both my business and personal belongings. This facility is by far the best; it's priced competitively, it's clean, in top condition and very secure. Also, the mangers of this establishment; Frank, Kathleen and Shirley are the absolute best. They are professional, personable and very respectful. I would highly recommend you consider this facility to meet all of your storage needs.
