My furnace randomly went out one day and I was in a hurry to get it fixed because there was some colder weather coming in over the weekend. My “go to” HVAC repair company couldn’t get out to me for over a week and I was still waiting for a return call from the other companies I contacted. I was referred to Matt, at Pleasant Temps, and not only did he return my call in a timely manner, he was able to arrive the same day earlier than predicted. After a quick diagnosis, Matt determined it was the circuit board on the furnace that was bad. Matt explained the costs that come with such a repair

Last night our hot water sprung a leak at the top of the unit. There was a five foot fine spray shooting across the utility room. Thank goodness we noticed it before the carpet was completely soaked. We called Matt at Pleasant Temps Heating & Cooling. He asked that we text him a shot of the problem so he could evaluate the problem. He called back right away letting us know he could come up around 10:00 a.m. today. Matt showed up twenty minutes sooner than promised, did a beautiful job replacing the pipe and union.

I had an appointment for Monday to have Matt come over and look at my air conditioner that had stopped working. He texted me Sunday afternoon and came over and got my air conditioner running. The house was at 82 and rising on a really hot day. Thank you so much for helping us out Matt. While he was here my neighbor cane sovereign and Matt was able to get his air running again too. Very professional and explained everything going on. Matt went way beyond our expectations.

Pleasant Temps replaced my a/c unit about 8 years ago. On an extremely hot day (5/7/2020) it was not working and the house became extremely hot. I called Matt, and he was at my house within 30 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the problem and I was back up and running in no time. His professionalism and responsiveness is fantastic. Contacted Matt to schedule diagnostic of my furnace, while also performing annual service. Pleasant Temps was the 3rd company that attempted to resolve the issue. Matt immediately identified the problem and fixed it.

A previous company had failed to fix our A/C during the worst of the summer heat despite multiple attempts. Once we called Matt, he was able to come out quickly and immediately identified and resolved the issue. He was easy to work with and knowledgeable (in addition to fixing our system, he was also able to tell us how the previous contractor failed to do so and could have damaged the unit). Nothing but positives to say.

AC died just a few days before the heat wave of Memorial Weekend! Found Pleasant Temps info attached to my 2 year old furnace, and after calling Matt, he was out within 2 hours. Both the compressor and condenser were bad. I knew this unit was of poor quality so he quoted a new unit, AC pad, all new cooling line and evaporator coil. Very fair price. Matt had all the parts delivered 36 hours later and he and an assistant shows up on the Memorial Weekend on Sunday at 7am! Within 6 hours my ducts are blowing nice cold air. House went from 82 to 76 in 5 hours, very happy. Matt is the real deal, and

Matt has always been a reliable and very professional! I was pleasantly surprised with the entire service call to get my AC up and running again.
Matt was curious, polite and professional. He only fixed and replaced what needed to be worked on and made recommendations for future upgrades. No pressure.

We called Matt at Pleasant Temps to help get our air conditioning system working after unsuccessfully trying to set up appointments with other suggested businesses. He responded quickly and arranged an appointment within two days of our initial call. Matt was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable, and assisted in getting our system back on board quickly and professionally. He was also very respectful of our property and living space when working and didn't leave a huge mess after finishing. Pleasant Temp's prices were very reasonable too. On Wednesday, February 2, Matt from Pleasant Temps Heating & Cooling was on a service call in Elk Grove Village. He had a screw in his new tire on his service van. He knew of my tire shop, in Elk Grove, so he gave me a call to see if I could repair the LT tire, as it was pretty low in air. As I was jacking the van, preparing to remove the tire, Matt noticed my ceiling furnace in my shop. He noticed the filter was a little dusty, and recommended that I replace it a little more often, especially because of a somewhat dusty environment. Matt, the owner of Pleasant Temps was out to fix my furnace this week. He was quite professional, quick and efficient. My furnace is now in perfect working order. There were no "hidden" costs and the whole ordeal took exactly as long as was estimated. At the end of the day, I do not feel taken advantage of. I am quite pleased with my experience and would recommend Pleasant Temps to my friends and family. My cat, Stanley even approves of Matt- and any friend of Stanley's is a friend of mine.
