If the house has a private septic system it should definitely be inspected by a professional septic contractor. A standard home inspection will not include this. Some inspectors will provide a limited (visual only) inspection by running a few faucets for about 20 minutes or about 180 gallons. This will surge the system with an unusual amount of water.

We used Quest Air for mold remediation of our junk-filled basement that had been underwater. They provided a detailed assessment and implemented quickly and professionally. Great communication with Kelly, very thorough work by the team and they provided assurance that we will be mold free with a warranty. They were also very professional and respected our property, meaning they covered areas appropriately so as not to track dust and contaminants. I was skeptical we could ever use that basement but they have convinced me otherwise! Highly recommend!

Recently had major work done and had gotten terribly sick shortly after. Was concerned that the woodwork that was replaced may have been contaminated with mold due to a prolonged leak. Quest came out quickly and did a thorough testing of the area. Very professional with reasonable rates. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

If you have the slightest concern about mold in your home you need to call Quest Air Mold Remediation. Everyone was extremely friendly and made sure to take care of us like we were family. We got consults from multiple mold remediation companies and they all quoted us twice/three times what Quest did. Our recently purchased home that had sat for quite some time had mold contamination in basement and attic. Michael, Kelly and their team thoroughly cleaned, scrubbed, painted, removed insulation, and cleaned under them. And to our surprise after painting basement walls, Michael insisted on painting the floor as well without charging extra. He wanted to make sure the basement was a place kids can to play.

Claude did a mold remediation for the previous owners of a house I bought. He stood by his guarantee when I called to report that the mold had returned. He explained that it came back because the previous owners had not followed his advice. He agreed to treat the basement again and he spent a lot of time showing me how to stop it from coming back. This was after he had already been paid by the previous owners, so he had nothing to gain except to help me. He's very knowledgeable and also a super nice guy. I highly recommend this company.
