The process used to make this plastic is called Reaction Injection Molding (RIM). This polyurethane has great properties that make it a great substitute for metal, wood, and ceramic!

The Universal Double-Bar Safety Gates (UDG) are polyurethane, self-closing safety gates. These industrial safety gates are used to prevent falls and protect employees from vulnerable openings at the tops of vertical ladders and elevated platforms. The self-closing swing gate meets and exceeds all fall protection standards, including US OSHA 1910.29 (Walking-Working Surfaces Standard), EN ISO 14122, and ABS Standard 201 Section 4.8.
The Pedestrian Gate (PG) is a polyurethane and PVC, gravity-closing swing gate used for ground applications where people are to be separated from equipment and/or machinery. The lightweight warehouse gate provides safe access between segregated areas of operation. The Pedestrian Safety Gate is an easy-to-install passive gate for industrial and commercial settings.
Intrepid Toeboard Links are designed to encircle piping of all sizes found in and around grating and deck plate. The Intrepid Toeboard Links are manufactured from our rigid, noncorrosive polyurethane, making the T5 resistant to outdoor exposure and harsh environments. Grating Collars (GPC) are designed to easily enclose unwanted openings, gaps, and penetrations that are found in walking-working surface areas.
The system provides an easy way in office spaces to elevate and keep cords and cables from being tripping hazards. Both Hook and Handi Klip are all plastic construction and are available in bright yellow providing visibility and safety. They will not ding, pinch, cut, or damage ceiling grid or cords and cables.
For over 30 years, Intrepid Industries has manufactured molded plastic insulators for electrochemical processes providing high resistance to electrical current. Intrepid's injection molded electrical insulators come in various dimensions. Companies such as Dow, Summit Electric, Westlake, and Flohe have used our molded plastic insulators in their chlorine process to isolate bus bars and brine cells.
