Solar installs are not a one size fits all business. Everyone has different roofs, facing different directions, with different utility companies. The best way to know how much a solar install will cost you is to have a FREE custom solar quote prepared for your home. To design the best system for your home we'll need to see the past year's worth of electrical usage, in kilowatt hours (KWH), for your home.
This is a basic tool to show basic solar cost and system sizes. Every home is different and will require a custom solar proposal and design before installation. These numbers are based on an average solar installation on a south facing composite shingle roof with minimal shading. The calculations are based upon a standard roof mounted system with Q-Cell 325watt Mono panels.
We'll come out before the roofer to map and review your current layout, delicately de-install your solar PV system to be stored at a secure location on your property. We'll remove your solar panels, racking, along with all optimizers, micro inverters and hardware. Once your re-roof is complete we return and quickly re-install your solar system exactly as you had it before.

We just had a 9,460 Watt Solar system designed by Sean Taylor and installed by his team from Texas Solar Guys L.L.C. out of Buda Texas.
I had researched the possibility getting a Solar system for years and finally decided I was ready. I looked at 4 other bids: 3 from National companies and 1 other local company. Sean and team designed and installed a roof mounted solar array at my home in Austin. From day one Sean was responsive to all my questions in a timely manner and proposed a cost effective and innovative system from the get go. I had a lot of questions and Sean impressed me with his ability to clearly explain his solution and why it was the best.

I had been interested in Solar energy for a quite few years, and always knew it was something I would eventually commit to having installed. I wanted to make certain that the time was right, and also to find the right company to do the work.

I hired Texas Solar guys a couple of years ago to correct a solar system that had been installed incorrectly. The did a fantastic job of redoing the system and putting it back into production. A year later I contacted them and had them double the system again and once again they came out and added to my array. I decided once again to have them add yet another addition to the array which now produces 20Kw. Sean and his team did a fantastic job. The system has performed flawlessly and Sean has responded on several occasions to drop by and check the system. I am living overseas working for the US

Bought a property that already had solar installed. Everything was working fine until a few days ago - error code on inverter and a call from the City of Austin saying the system wasn't feeding to the grid. Sean and Texas Solar Guys had replaced the inverter for the previous owner, so I gave them a call. Sean answered right away and was able to meet me the next day. Inverter just needed to be power cycled and we were back in business. Sean also took the time to explain the system setup and answer a few questions that I had. Will definitely call them if we have issues in the future -
