Have used owner Mark Dent’s Chesapeake Chimney for 33+ years, most recently to install a very nice surround/backing/& insulation to the enamel/ceramic fireplace box [which Mark installed many years ago] inside the fireplace. CC worker Daniel Titus installed the carefully measured fireplace surround, and it fit perfectly and foam insulation was applied behind it. Looks really beautiful. CC always gives first rate service, wonderful people, on time, clean up after the job is done and reasonable costs. Highly recommend them.

Hired Chesapeake Chimney to clean my pellet stove and chimney. I went to use my pellet stove a few days later when it got cold enough to turn it on and it was inoperable and had not been reassembled correctly. Took over an hour to discover a disconnected wire and to put the panels back on properly. There was still dust and pellets throughout the stove and the glass wasn't even cleaned. I sent an email to the company and filled out a contact form through their website and they never acknowledged me. Won't be using this company again.

I was impressed from the start by the professionalism and knowledge of their scheduler, Barbara. She took almost 10 minutes to explain their process and procedures- covering every detail thoroughly. The communication via texts and emails was incredibly helpful and appreciated. The technicians, Nick and Joseph, were pleasant, friendly, respectful and professional. The professionals who have serviced my chimney for the last 10 years or so have built up our trust and we'll be using their service for as long as we live in this house.
