Mr Mack came to our house and did a complete inspection of both our chimneys that included taking pictures removing a steel plate which previous owner closed up both brick chimneys (SMH), after explaining to us everything that was going on and what we will need to put both back in service, the question was ask when can work be done and how long will it take upon giving us the answer (tomorrow and 3-4 hours) we said yes before Mr Mack left his son was on the phone with their supplier ordering our materials. As promised they came back the next day being new to fire placing Mr Mack explained everything

These people are unorganized. They came to do inspection and possible chimney liner. The father came with the son who had hip surgery and needed a high chair to sit in and and a neighbor who actual did the sweep and sealed up cracks in the fireplace. I had to tell them not to touch the furniture because that was the first thing they did when they started looking at the fireplace. the neighbor puts his cell phone on my chair. they were just all over the place and the prices were high. they did the sweep and inspection and was going to come back to do the liner. when i asked about the process for

Mack's Chimney Services, Maryland: Mr. Mack (the son) and his assistance which at this time I am unable to remember his name, might had been Marcus if not he know I am speaking of him. They informed us they had been vaccinated and would arrive wearing mask. As we are an older couple that was good to hear. Our chimney was cracked pretty bad and repairs were made. They also were customer friendly, knew their craft and communicated with us from beginning to end about the repair of our chimney. We were shown before and after pictures once the job was finish. I debated even writing this review because I don't like the possibility of ever hurting a business's potential but honestly the service provided is subpar. I requested a fireplace inspection and was quoted a price over the phone. On the day of my appointment, four guys arrived. Why four guys need to conduct an inspection is beyond me. I ask that only two come inside because of the pandemic. The inspection consisted of them trying to get the fireplace to start. I was never given the results of the inspection. We called early in the morning - thanks to their 24 hour availability! - and they came same day. We had a bird in the chimney pecking away and echoing through the house. They were very professional and very kind. Beautiful to see a multi-generational family working together passing on wisdom and good work ethic. They swept one chimney and left the house very clean. 100% recommend.
