RJS Heating & Cooling
Annual maintenance is a great way to keep your HVAC equipment running smoothly and keep your hard earned money in your pocket. RJS Heating & Cooling, Inc. is your TRUSTED Expert for Furnace repair in the Roselle area. In the Roselle area, proper heating and air conditioning make all the difference when it comes to year-round enjoyment of your home.

Your furnace and air conditioner need to work reliably and efficiently, so you can devote your time and resources to the people and activities you care about most. At RJS Heating & Cooling, Inc., we understand the tendency for homeowners to take their HVAC systems for granted-we're busy, too!

But we also know that things like ongoing neglect, shoddy furnace installations, and improperly sized equipment are more costly, not only in the long run, but in your monthly fuel bills, too. That's why it's important to get your furnace or boiler serviced by a licensed heating company. In other words, you need someone like us!
Services
Family is one of the most important things we value here at RJS Heating & Cooling. Like you, we want only the best for our families, especially when it comes to home comfort. Whether the heater has failed as the temperature drops or the air conditioner refuses to run in the middle of a blazing summer, our family owned and operated company is here to help.
RJS Heating and Cooling is committed to providing top-notch products and services to our customers. We are always willing to answer your questions and provide the information you need to make the best decisions for your home. The lifespan of new equipment exceeds that of older systems. Older furnaces generally last between 10-15 years, and olderair conditioners last 10-12 years.
Study up - Find out about license and insurance requirements for contractors in your state. And before you call a contractor, know the model of your current system and its maintenance history. Also, make note of any uncomfortable rooms. This will help potential contractors better understand your heating needs.
Most air conditioners have their capacity rated in BTUs, or British Thermal Units. A BTU is, generally, the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of one pound of water one degree F. Specifically, a BTU is 1,055 joules, but the first definition is easier to understand in real-life terms. One "ton", in heating and cooling terms, is 12,000 BTUs.
Maintain your equipment to prevent future problems and unwanted costs. Keep your cooling and heating system at peak performance by having a contractor do annual pre-season check-ups. Contractors get busy once summer and winter come, so it's best to check the cooling system in the spring and the heating system in the fall.

Would 100% recommend. Very helpful with our furnace/air conditioning installs and even called to make sure they were registered in order to extend the warranties. Our heat wouldn't work and they came out quickly to fix the issue. We will definitely be using them from now on!

Scott serviced my sixteen year old a/c unit. He complimented the work that
at was done by the installer and told me that my unit was in very good shape. No sales pitch for a new unit but he will get my business when that time comes.

I highly recommend RJS Heating & Cooling. Our AC went out Monday evening. Bobby was at our house Tuesday morning at 9:00. He was very knowledgeable and gave us our options. Rob and Randy came Wednesday morning to install our new AC unit. Their work was very professional and thorough. We really appreciate how quickly this all came together for us!

If you are looking for a business that is honest, dependable, reasonable you NEED to call RJS Heating and cooling. I have used Scott since he was a young man working for a heating air conditioning company. Now he owns RJS Heating and Air conditioning company and I still depend on him. Like I said previously. He is very honest, dependable, reasonable. He only uses the best equipment. He stands by his equipment. I would never consider using another heating and air conditioning company.

Woke up to no heat. Contacted RJS Heating and Cooling and explained my problem. With my furnace being 30 years old I wasn’t expecting a great outcome. Scott arrived within an hour and assessed the situation. Scott informed me that he could fix the furnace but due to the repairs needed it would be a considerable amount. Scott also explained the products he offered and what was available immediately. He also explained my options with the furnace install and possible ac unit install but after assessing my ac unit he informed me a new ac unit was not needed and wouldn’t recommend replacement. I

Scott is the owner. Out of 6 places called on Sunday he was the only one who answered quickly and was able to come out later that day. Our furnace had been cycling on, then off all morning and the temps were going to be in the 30's that night. He suggested a time window and told me up front there was NO premium charge for the service on Sunday. He arrived as planned and was able to quickly diagnose an issue with the heat exchanger temperature limit sensor. He had a replacement part in the truck and had us up and running in no time. He even added an inline fuse to the transformer

I have used RJS for the past few years and can honestly say they deliver a great experience from start to finish. Scott called me back within a few hours to schedule A/C tuneup and Bob came out as scheduled. Very friendly and knowledgeable, which is a big plus in my book. Would definitely recommend!!

We just had our air conditioning replaced and had a great experience. Not only was the price competitive, the installers were top notch, both in their craftsmanship of tackling a complicated old house and their courteousness and willingness to answer any questions we had. They left no trace behind, and we are enjoying the quiet, new, efficient a/c just in time for summer. A side note: they did wear masks and observed social distancing.

These guys are INCREDIBLY helpful! We woke up on day 2 of the Polar Vortex to find it was 48 degrees in the house and the furnace wasn't working. I did a little online research to find out what the problem might be, but was stumped. I called RJS and explained what was going on and he was able to talk me thru what was happening and some things I could do to get it working again without having to pay the cost for a technician to come out and look at it.

As of now, the furnace is working but we're keeping an eye on it. If there is an issue, RJS will be the first ones I call!

A great level of service provided by RJS once again. My husband and I recently had RJS out to install a new water heater. They did a wonderful job! We upgraded from a 40 gallon to a 50 gallon. We were thrilled with the work that RJS did. Unfortunately very soon after our boiler took a turn for the worse and finally died (it was 46 years old). I called RJS over Easter weekend and spoke with the owner Scott. First thing Monday morning, two technicians were out installing my new boiler. Bob and Ross were professional and took the time to explain the new system to my husband and I. They did extraordinary

Called them to fix our water heater. This guy named Scott came and saw it was leaking and quoted us $525. Then when the work was done, he added on $100 for the leaks he already saw. When we complained, he called us cheap Indians (we are from the middle east). To top it off he sent us the receipt with Patel written on it even though that is not my name. Highly racist and dishonest! Please avoid at all costs.

I was supposed to have a maintenance done on my AC today, that I had been trying to schedule for the last 6 weeks but could not due to inconsistent temperatures. Received a call today from the service company saying they could not come out today due to people who did not have working AC, ours was not an emergency, and the service was going to be a waste of my time and his. Also that it was not worth the $75 he would have received for the maintenance. If I had just scheduled this service I would not have minded but I even had to wait an additional 2 weeks for an appointment after I scheduled.

Excellent experience with Scott and his crew over the last few days installing my new Trane furnace and AC system. My 26 year old unit finally crapped out and RJS was quick to come out, provide a competitive quote and get the unit installed in a very timely, clean and professional manner.

Let me set the stage: Friday night, 10pm - our furnace suddenly sounds like someone threw a brick into a washing machine on a spin-cycle. Something told me that wasn't quite right...

Our first call was to RJS (thanks, Yelp & the Trane website). Scott was at our place by 11:30 pm - on a Friday night, remember. Our problem turned out to be a bit more involved and it took until the next day to get parts but Scott was in regular contact with us and the price was very reasonable, given the work that had to be done (and the timing).

On top of that, we had another issue a day or two later

My wife and I recently moved to roselle. We called RJS to get a quote on moving a gas line over in our house. On a very busy Saturday Scott was able to give us the time to give us a quote the same day we called. From start to finish Scott and his two techs were polite and efficient. Quality customer service is important in my book and they gave excellent service. RJS will be my service provider for my hearing and cooling needs.

Amazing and honest service without price gouging. We just moved into A new house and had a friend of the family Who was in the business perform some service on our heater. After doing basically nothing in leaving us with a terrible motor we ended up calling RJS as we had used them in the past. They immediately recognize the bad motor and replaced it within a few days. They also ended up charging us a little less than we were originally quoted which was very unexpected. From now on we will always use this company for our heating and air-conditioning needs.

Contacted Scott thru Trane's Website - from the minute he came in, I was extremely impressed. I had a few other shops out to provide estimates, and they gave me estimates on what I currently had. Scott suggested what would be more efficient than what I had, which is great, considering if you're spending this kinda money, why not UPGRADE!
Staff showed up on time, and ready to work. Very clean, very professional, and just all around great guys. I felt the passion in each of their work ethic, this is not just a quick job, get it done, and out the door deal - these people want it done
