Boston Air Duct's technicians damaged my washing machine during their visit to my home to clean my dryer vents. As soon as they left, I noticed that the control knob on my washing machine wasn't working and the machine wouldn't turn on. I had used it without a problem the day before. I called immediately to report the damage, and Sean said he and his company would take no responsibility for the damage. We recently moved into a new place and I am so glad we called this company to clean out our dryer vent. They answered all my questions beforehand, arrived exactly when they said they would, and tackled a touch job (vent was in a hard to reach place outside, and was very badly clogged). Dedham police have an incident report on file. Because my video camera couldn't see what specific piece he hid under his plastic they couldn't charge him. Sean, owner, is now harassing me. These guys were super responsive and professional - they did a terrific job, and the price ended up being lower than I thought. Opened my dryer to find damp clothes and condensation on the door when it was closed. Google told me I needed my dryer vent cleaned so I called Sean. Extremely quick to respond and very reasonably priced. Came out quickly and was very helpful. The vent itself was improperly sealed (CO2 coming back into the house) with paper tape (fire hazard), both of which he fixed free of charge. The hood on the exterior of the house was old and damaged, which he repaired as best he could. BUYER BEWARE — I believe this place may be a scam. They pressure you to have “all your vents” cleaned at a high price-per-vent. I was suspicious but it was Covid times and I’d been coughing a lot working from home, so agreed. They did a sloppy job replacing the vent grills, using only one or two screws instead of the two or four originally there. Dryer vent wasn’t even close and they damaged the plaster around ceiling vents in my basement. We moved to a new house 4 years ago and shortly after started suffering from allergies, we bought air purifiers to each room as we couldn't figure out the root cause.

Sean and his team (Chris S and the other Chris - yes both of them with common first name) were awesome. I would highly recommend these guys. Very professional, friendly and gives you honest feedback. I got my air ducts and dryer vent cleaned during COVID-19 and the team wore a mask and thoroughly followed CDC guidelines. They cleaned the place after the work and left it as it was before. We recently bought an old house, with an old HVAC system. The place went into a lengthy renovation. Early in the process, we contacted the owner of Boston Air, trying to see whether we should do something for the ducts or the system, while the walls were still open. Trust me -- have your air ducts cleaned. Booked this company randomly -- they turned out to be fabulous and found MOLD in most of my ducts --probably been breathing in mold for years.
