Driftwood Garden Center
In 1984 Gary and Rene Hazelett came to Naples, Florida from Fort Wayne, Indiana with three children in tow. Their passions were family, gardening and business. That's when Gary stumbled upon a garden center on U.S. 41 named The Garden Exchange. He and Rene engrossed themselves in the business and purchased it along with its sister garden center Driftwood Nursery on 6th Avenue North in downtown Naples.

The two were then combined into the existing store at 5051 Tamiami Trail North. With that said, Driftwood Garden Center was born. In 1998 their second location followed. A custom designed garden center located in Estero, a booming area north of the Naples store. Both locations have proven to be a garden lover's delight.

Driftwood remains a family owned and operated obsession. With their two son's now managing the business, along with their extended family of over 90 dedicated team members. Our team has been green thumbs for decades and all are fanatical about personal service. We specialize in many areas, beginning with over an acre of shade houses boasting thousands of green and colorful interior and outdoor plants.

Extensive variety of exotics and houseplants along with great variety of outdoor garden accessories, designer crafts, vases, etc. Staff is informative, courteous and mask-free! We were pleasantly surprised at the prices (almost half the price of rip-off garden stores on Long Island). Only thing missing is tiki bar! Will definitely be back sooner than later...

Jennifer and Nicole helped me pick out some beautiful low-maintenance trees for my yard. Without Nicole’s expertise, patience, and listening to what I needed the plants I would have chosen on my own would have surely ended up dead like the others I got from other local stores. Their selection is great and they have very unique pottery, yard decor, plants, and all the extras to keep your yard and plants healthy! I get my koi from them, too.

Driftwood is one of the coolest places to visit. Not even to buy plants, which it has an incredible variety, but in general it is a really neat place. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a wide variety of indoor and outdoor plants.

Was celebrating my birthday today! I found out about this place because one of my coworkers roommates work here and was so excited to check it out. So many amazing plants that I’ve never seen before. I spent 40 something dollars on 6 different plants, and a rectangular planter pot. So much variety here and I can’t wait to go back. Seriously an amazing way to treat myself on my bday❤️🌿🌱

Never had any issues purchasing plants here, as well as soil and fertilizer. My parents showed me this place while I was growing up in estero, and now I go here for all my garden needs. All my plants have grown quickly and are all very healthy! They attract butterflies, bees, and all sorts of bugs. Even the birds enjoy my garden. I am part of the rewards program and they always let me know when I have a reward to use. They have a beautiful selection of plants and a well educated and caring staff. Thank you driftwood for making my garden possible with the variety of plants grown at your nursery
