He has over 25 years' experience in pool service and repair. Also, Dan has a Ph. D. in Bio-Chemistry from Ohio State University. Although an advanced science degree may not be necessary to provide excellent pool service, you can bet Dan knows the particulars of pool water chemistry and how and when to safely employ potentially hazardous chemicals which make your pool sparkle.

Below are a few facts and opinions about contractor licensing in Florida. For your own safety and peace of mind, make sure your pool repairs are perfomed by a licensed individual. Did you know that the State of Florida does not require residential pool service companies and individuals to have any kind of competency license whatsoever?
A gentleman emailed me on a recent early Friday morning to ask if I could repair his plumbing system ASAP because he was having a party the next day. Apparently some bricks (yes, bricks) had fallen off the roof on to the pool equipment and broke several pipes. Fortunately, I was able to get there immediately - it was still dark.

We purchased our home in February and wanted to take advantage of our lovely new pool and spa as fast as we could! We spoke with several pool repair companies and when we met Dan we knew we'd found our pool professional! Dan was courteous and timely scheduling and coming out to assess our pool and heat pump.

Dan prove to be exceptionally good at cleaning my pool and always gave me helpful advice to keep it clean. The only reason I stopped using Dan was because I moved to another location and I no longer have a pool. I highly recommend Dan for your pool cleaning services. His prices are very reasonable, and his customer service is outstanding.

We have used Dan's services for nearly a year, and I highly recommend him without reservation. He is well-versed in pool systems and components and can translate that with ease to simplify instructions or give advice. I can't remember a time when Dan was not present, punctual, or proficient. I trust his honest opinion, never feeling misled to do or purchase an unnecessary thing. He's also been available on the two times I have called after hours with a quick question, always ready to lend a hand.

Dan replaced our pool pump motor and cleared-up the pool water which had turned dark green, since the old motor wasn't working. He recommended NOT to drain the pool and refill it with clean water, since there was a chance the pool could lift up out of the ground, when empty, due to the amount of rain we had been getting.
He was very personable and we are very happy with the work that he did!! Would definitely would recommend him. A++

I just moved to the Brandon area and noticed a problem with my pool. Being from the Midwest, I know nothing about pools, chemicals, pumps or filters. I called Dan and he made time to see me the same day and worked around my schedule. He showed me how to operate the entire system, how to test and add chemicals, and gave me a list of equipment to buy. What a nice gentleman. I was so glad I called him as he was able to fix the leak and get the pump operating effectively within an hour. He will definitely get my business!

These guys are great, period. Florida is a state that makes residential pool care exempt, so more people who care for your pools are unlicensed, but not Dan he is licensed for for commercial pools as well. We tried others before we called Dan and his family to care for our pool and jacuzzi and never looked back. Also Dan has a degree in chemistry so I think he knows what certain chemicals can do or not do to you.
He not only helped us by keeping our pool clean, but also helped us with our pump and thermostat maintenance. Also offered us breaks on replacement parts because he deals direct with
