S. I. Kincaid and Sons, Inc. was founded in 1918 when Isaiah and Jessie Kincaid branched out from the family business in Louisville, Illinois. Jessie and Isaiah believed in taking care of customers, consistently looking for ways to both attract new customers and improve service to existing customers.
Isaiah passed away in 1966, and Jessie carried on as president until early 1997. Steve Kincaid II and son-in-law Dale Florer became vice presidents and the business continued to grow. Stephen I. Kincaid III joined the family business after college. Granddaughters Kim Mathews and Robyn Anderson now serve as vice presidents.
Robyn's husband Curt Anderson is now president. Our business started as primarily a hardware store. It has grown over the years into a strong retail and wholesale business, featuring more than 65,000 items. A unique 30,000 square feet, old-school store that's a refreshing antidote to the big boxes.

I purchased some pvc pipes for a DIY project and had to exchange a few of the items. Also, I was looking for a few items, of which an employee asked if I needed help finding.
