Daniel is the best! We have used him for things a couple times over the years. The first time my closet rods broke because I have lots of clothes. It was such a mess of stuff all over it looked like my closet threw up. Luckily Daniel came out to fix it and he even helped me hang every thing back up.
After we moved he came to pull some weeds for us , hang pictures, fix cracks in the wall, and paint.
He is like the dad every girl wish she had to call and come fix things.
He is super nice and patient too. He really takes his time and is so careful.
I would use him again!

Daniel from Handyfixits came to hang a few floating shelves over backsplash tile for us. He was very meticulous and intent on doing the job right. You can tell he takes great pride in his work by his attention to detail and thoroughness. He is also very pleasant to deal with and brought all the proper equipment. He even brought additional screws and drywall anchors that he thought we might need to do the job and he was absolutely right - the hardware that came with the shelf that we bought wouldn't have worked for the job. Can't say enough amazing things about Daniel. I really hate to give away such a great secret because he may be hard to book in the future, but in all honesty, he really deserves it! He's the kind of guy you wish you had in your family - just plain nice, comfortable to be around, and can fix ANYTHING. I hate hiring people and having strangers in my home, so I had put off so many things to do (my kid could barely open his closet to get clothes out for many weeks because of my procrastination finding someone to fix it). We wanted a few special projects completed within a short deadline, and hired Daniel based upon his reviews on Yelp. Our projects required quite a bit of ingenuity, one to build a shelf in the laundry room using galvanized pipe to convey a rustic chic look, the other to build a latticed enclosure to conceal an ugly AC unit in our yard.
We were so impressed with how Daniel planned and constructed both, literally from scratch, using his ingenuity to complete them with a high degree of workmanship and expertise.
Seeing how good he is, we have already decided to use him again for two other projects

I would recommend Daniel highly. He arrived on time, was professional and friendly. We had three antique door panels that were to be hung on the wall and serve as a headboard. They had to be sized correctly, reinforced and installed on the wall property. This was a complex job. Daniel did a perfect job. His price was more than reasonable.Thank you Daniel for a great job.

After several failed attempts of trying to hang a 70 lb. circular mirror (in all honesty felt more like 100 lb) my boyfriend and I came to the conclusion we needed to hire a professional. After weeks of having it up against the living room wall, I gave up trying to self-install the mirror. This comes after weeks of frustration of drilling countless unnecessary holes in drywall, lifting a heavy cumbersome mirror, and just having no time of day. It was time to find someone with experience.

So one morning my entire closet rod fell down. Clothes are all over the floor and it looks like the clearance rack at a forever 21 threw up in my closet. I was lucky enough to come across Daniel. He replied quickly and was able to come right away to save the day.
He fixed my entire closet, drywall, cleaned it up, and even helped me put back and organize all my clothes. He is genuine, fair, polite, and very skilled. I am a tiny lady and felt completely at ease letting him work while I was the only one in the house. He even helped me push my fridge back in since it was sticking out a little.

Daniel fixed our door to the backyard that was hard to close tight because the door is slanted a little. Additionally he fixed the front door lock that was hard to open because the locking mechanism is a bit worn out and needed some maintenance.

Daniel was fantastic! I needed lots of stuff done around the house. Most importantly I wanted him to build a railing on top of a 3 ft wall in my hallway. Each time we walked by with the baby we were so scared of an accident and the other side of the wall was a 10ft+ drop. I also needed a baby gate hard-mounted into the wall and lots of door fixed due to sticking. He came over to walk through and take measurements and we scheduled a time for him to start work about a week later. He showed up promptly and ready to work. He worked tirelessly for 2 days, no breaks and did a great job! He was very neat

Daniel was awesome. I needed a broken bathroom window replaced. He was very easy to deal with. He showed up when he said he would. He ordered the part for me, he worked with me around my schedule. He was fast, efficient, reasonably priced, and very polite. I couldn't have asked for better service.

Daniel Cavanaugh does excellent work. He is much more then a handyman. I just got a huge paddle board and needed to store it somewhere in the garage where it would be out of the way as I work in there. It is a very crowded one car Garage that has all our sports equipment galore in there ... he figured out a way to store it so that it looks like part of the design of the garage and I was able to fit everything I needed in there I am going to have him do more work ...change out the tile on the fireplace and add storage to the garage. I would definitely recommend him.. he also works very clean
