Services
Jim K., Founder and Lead Technician of Charity Plumbing, has been a plumber for the past 18 years, and has worked all over this country. He has worked on homes that were built in the 1800's, all the way up to new builds. In addition, Jim has spent 2 years in New Orleans after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina helping rebuild the community.
Your home's water heater plays a major role your family's household. A water heater is responsible for supplying hot water to your entire home for bathing, cooking, cleaning, and washing needs. Like any appliance in your home, over time your water heater can have normal wear and tear, sediment build up or even loss of hot water for a household's daily routine.
Many people do not think about their drains until an issue arises! There can be many things that can block, restrict or damage water and sewer lines. Grease build-up, toilet paper, waste and foreign objects can prohibit proper flow. With time, the water/sewage flow can cause minor backups, stinky drains, pipe corrosion or even breaks in a sewer line.
Water quality has been a priority for mankind since the beginning of time. But only now do we have the technology to provide the safest, cleanest water possible. Reverse osmosis is the most advanced filtration system available on a widespread basis. Many homeowners choose a reverse osmosis system to provide clean, odorless water for their family.

This once awesome plumbing company has gone down the drain recently. I'm not sure what has happened! I used to love these guys, but after my most recent experience, I'll never use them again.
I hired them to replace a reverse osmosis system. They sent out a person who not only wasn't an actual plumber, but who had never in his life installed a RO system. He didn't even know anything about how they worked or how to maintain them.
He couldn't install it properly even after 4 hours and a trip to the hardware store. Also, he cut himself while he was working and left blood

Initially, I was connected to Charity Plumbing by my home warranty company (Old Republic) and have since hired them for other unrelated service calls. I have now had the misfortune of hiring numerous plumbers for my '60s era ranch home, so I don't take this recommendation lightly. Hire them without hesitation. The in-office crew was responsive and timely, the technicians are knowledgeable and communicate well, and the billing is simple and straightforward. I would expect this from any company but this is the only plumber I have found, at least here in Phoenix, that does all of those things

I really wanted to give a small business my business of getting a new water heater so when I received the postcard marketing Charity Plumbing I attempted to call. Calls are not answered directly.
Unfriendly and unconcerned woman who answers the phone only after repeatedly calling back or leaving a message. I was very clear in what my needs were but she didn't bother informing the tech of what my needs were.
Very friendly tech showed up and was straight forward and helpful. When he left I thought we had a game plan which involved me getting the equipment on my own. He gave me his number

I chose Charity due to the Yelp reviews. We had a water leak after hours which lead to the need to re-pipe her 40 year old mobile home. I called two other companies to get quotes and they were not even willing to repipe underneath a mobile home. Many issues were discovered upon the work starting but even though we were without water for a week; Charity completed the job thoroughly and honored the quote even though they lost money on the job because the original quote was not done correctly. Additionally, the plumbers were very clean and professional. I can not say enough good things about

I hired Charity Plumbing for the first time yesterday. The work was done well and I was happy with the professionalism of the technician. There were some issues that stemmed from miscommunication, which I was originally frustrated with. However, immediately upon learning of my frustration, they bent over backward to make it right and went above and beyond (more than I could imagine) to make me happy and did so very quickly. I understand that sometimes things happen, but for them handle it so well and so quickly is just not something you see everyday. I was not only happy with the resolution, but

Jim and Bill were awesome to deal with. I was hit with a sudden and EXPENSIVE sewer line re-route while digging my pool. They were able to come out the NEXT DAY and get it all taken care of... for less than half the cost of all the other companies I called. I cannot thank them enough for helping make a ridiculously stressful situation 1000x better.

Great experience- 5 star! Wow. VERY professional service, on time (actually early) and reasonable priced. Don't have to worry about my hot water for many years! I have lived in the Valley for 25 years and they can be trusted for your plumbing needs. This is company that has integrity. Highly recommend Jim, thank you.

Charity Plumbing tore apart the underneath of my home to access the plumbing for my kitchen remodel but when it came to plugging up the hole they made they told me I was "on my own" To their credit they did attempt to put a piece of "styrofoam packing material" in the hole they made.
Cody was the rookie service tech. Promised to put my barrier back up after he was done but left everything open and exposed to the elements.
Do yourself a favor and call a larger licensed, bonded & insured Company that cares about their reputation and stands behind their work.

I had sewage coming up from my master bathroom toilet and shower. Then my second bathroom starting acting up. I attempted to call my home warranty after waiting on hold for about an hour and a half I decided to end the call. From there I called Charity Plumbing and talked with the owner Jim. Within the hour Bill showed up and I explained the situation. He ended up going onto my roof and snaking the main pipe. They were beyond professional from start to end. I'm going to be recommending them to all of my family and friends.

They were great when my hot water tank needed to be replaced. They worked with my work schedule and didn't charge an additional fee to work with my availability. The tech that came out was friendly and professional and made it a point to clean up any mess he made while installing the new tank it.
On a separate day, I messaged to get a possible quote for repairing my washing machine. While that is not something they do, they were still able to help by referring me to someone who could help.
I will use them again in the future.

Thank you Charity Plumbing! I called to request an estimate to have an RO drinking fountain installed at my office. The dispatcher, Rachel, was really helpful over the phone! She answered all of my initial questions, and set me up with a time and day for the estimate. William came out on time and was very professional. He was also very knowledgeable and presented a quote that was more than fair. No other competitors prices came close to Charity's. Installation of the water fountain was quick and the water tastes AMAZING, as William promised.

Charity Plumbing is simply awesome!! I met Jim on a realtor broker tour and was so tremendously impressed with how much this small company gives back to the community. The whole principle of charging a fair hourly, being profitable but not greedy....YES!!
They came out to install an RO faucet into a house I sold. Another plumbing company quoted $280 for the work...Charity Plumbing was LESS THAN HALF with parts and labor! My clients were really happy and gave me a 5 star review.
You can trust your plumbing needs to Charity Plumbing and it won't leave your wallet empty!

There are two other plumbers that I have reviewed, and I would stand by those reviews. I had work done by a handy man service, they claimed to have many years of plumbing experience, and they advertised in trusted places. I have not reviewed them. I suppose every one can have a bad day, but I've had a huge repair bill, thankfully I have insurance. We keep finding issues from work performed by them. I've had Charity in for the third time to address new discoveries, eg. work that needed to be redone or corrected and showed up as a defect, now more than a month later. Charity was recommended
