I called them on the recommendation of a friend. A plumber came to fix the garbage disposal. He was on the phone the entire time. Once he figured it out, he called for a part to be dropped off. He did not fix it and broke the water cooling motor. DISASTER.
I called them and explained how incompetent the first plumber was. When they came out they claimed I yelled at the receptionist. They were also upset I criticized the plumber. After they found that the power worked the new plumber left. He called me and said they didn't want to work with me.

I am so grateful for API they were very helpful, fast service and Ethan was a great help with the water heater. We just completed a remodel of the master bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom was very small, circa 1970. We decided to expand the master bedroom into a 4th bedroom. Making it a 3 bedroom home, and expand the bathroom to be much more useful. I decided to use API after doing some homework. They're local which is a plus. We combined changing the water heater to a tankless, added a water filtration at the same time, we were given a discount for doing everything at the same time. API Plumbing's inspection of my new house uncovered decades old "Orangeburg" sewer pipe that was collapsing and in need of replacement. Scary stuff for me, but Bill, Brandon, and Taylor made the whole process a breeze! API used special equipment, good old fashioned hard work, and incredible engineering knowledge to wrestle the old pipe out, and the new pipe in.....sparing my brand new concrete circle driveway. We had a leak coming from behind our kitchen sink and API was the first company that was able to come out. Unfortunately we had to have a hole cut into our house and then a trench dug in our carport and backyard. We were a little worried when another company quoted us almost triple the price for this work but API completed the job in a timely manner, left the work area clean, and were all very friendly.

If i could give zero stars i would. This company almost cost us the sale of our home. My husband is a realtor and used to use this company for his clients for sewer scopes. We are selling a property of ours and API came out to do a sewer scope. They told our buyers and gave us an estimated cost sheet of $20,000!!! That was just to rip out our foundation, kitchen, bathrooms (everything we already re-modeled). So in total it would have cost us around $40k. API was one of the few companies willing to take a look at my shower drain issue. Another company said it was concrete and blocked totally and the brand new shower and tile and drain would have to be torn apart. Dustin from API showed up (even early)made no guarantees but was able to remove the blockage in just a few minutes saving me thousands of dollars. Friday late morning driving down the road and I see an ASI truck and gave them a call because I had a leaking issue in a wall in my kitchen. The receptionist didn't know if they had anyone available so she said she would research it and call me back; which she did about 5 mins later and we set up an appt between 1 and 3pm the same day. API just installed my home water filtration and softener system and wow, what a difference it made. I wish I had them do this years ago. Bill was fantastic throughout the whole process. He explained how the system works and what I would need to install it. There were no hidden fees and he didn't try and sell me on anything I didn't need. Bill knows his stuff. Incredible customer service and job performance! Bill came out to our home to give us a price and he was so kind, respectful, patient and professional. His pricing was close to one other company, but we chose him because he was much more knowledgeable and made us comfortable about the work. I flushed my Rinnai tankless water heater per manufactures instructions and ended up with no hot water this weekend. I am contractor myself and tried everything I could to fix it on my own with absolutely no luck. Finally on a Sunday evening after trying to convince my wife that a cold shower is a good thing :-) I caved and called API expecting to leave a message and I was shocked when Rick called me back before I had the chance.
