Welcome to Kizen Plumbing, your best choice for plumbing services and high-end remodeling in Redondo Beach! Whether you need to clear a clog, snake a drain or install new lines, our experience, expertise, and highly trained team is ready to take on your project, and greatly exceed your expectations.
Unless you've recently had your home built, chances are you will eventually need to have some repipe work done in your house. Like the rest of us, pipes get old and old pipes lead to leaks, which in turn can lead to expensive water damage repairs. There are two commonly used options when repiping a house: copper and plastic.
Sewer line and drain maintenance are essential to preventing bigger problems from accumulating in the future. Clogged drains or sewer lines are the most common reason for emergency plumbing calls, because they cause smelly waste to back up into the house. Hydro-jetting is one of the most efficient ways to clean and maintain those ever important sewer lines.
In earthquake prone areas, seismic valves are essential tools in the event of an earthquake. What are seismic valves, what do they do, and what should you look for when purchasing one? Seismic valves, known as earthquake valves, are valves that are attached the natural gas line of a home. In the event of an earthquake (or excessive gas line pressure) this valve will shut, cutting off the flow of natural gas to the home.
Most of the time, we don't think about the sewer and drainage system in our house, even though we use it every single day. It's one of those things that no one really notices until it causes problems, and when it causes problems, everyone knows it! Here we've gathered a few things that you should know about sewer and drain cleaning, and how to prevent a costly maintenance call.

Would highly recommend Kizen Plumbing. Jim was knowledgeable, friendly and punctual. Being a facilities manager I am always looking for good contractors and Kizen is definitely one of them. We had just purchased our home 5 weeks ago and already were in need of warranty repair work. The company sent Kizen. Jim helped us navigate through the home warranty process and was set our minds at ease with his knowledge and reluctance to cut twice and never measure first. Again, we would highly recommend Kizen Plumbing for any plumbing needs.

When we bought our first house, my parents told me, "first thing you need to do is find a decent, reliable plumber and electrician". Well, when it comes to plumbing, Kizen has far exceeded decent and reliable for us for over 15 years now. Jim is always at the ready when we need assistance, on-time with a great attitude, talks us through the issue, and gets the job done quickly with minimal down time. That is quality service at it's best...my parents would heartily approve!

I've lived in LA 17 years and been a condo owner twice now, I've worked with a lot of plumbers and by far Jim is the BEST one I've known, He is very patient, and explains everything, communicative, and sincerely seems to want to help out . He was very responsive on texts as well and friendly. Where are all the friendly plumbers in this world? He also gave me advice on upkeeping of my toilet. Unlike some Plumbers I've dealt with who might have bad attitudes and seem like they are overcharging , Jim is straight forward and reasonable . He fixed my clogged toilet, and my leaking

Jim is a straightforward guy. He will tell you what the problem is and what he recommends. You make the decision. No BS.
My tankless water heater went out (installed by another individual) and he explained to me that I needed to service it every couple of years and have it flushed out. That is why it did not last as long as it should have. He suggested I replace it as it would be more to replace the electronics that were fried in the unit. I had him replace it and he suggested that I should use a filter for the water before it goes in the system. I had him install a filter system too.

Jim has done great work at our prior and current home for fifteen years now, on jobs big and small. He's punctual, honest, and one of the few people who do work on my house I'd trust to leave in my house when I'm not there. I highly recommend Kizen Plumbing!

If you are going to buy an 80's tract home (or any home for that matter) that will surely have its share of plumbing challenges, Jim at Kizen Plumbing is your man. We have known him and relied on his expertise for a number of issues both great and small for sixteen years. He is a total problem solver. He is also incredibly kind and reassuring during minor leaks and one major flood. We have recommended Jim and Kizen Plumbing to a number of friends who have thanked us over and over again. When you get that group email from a friend saying: "can anyone recommend a good plumber?"

Hands down the best plumber I've dealt with. I'm an apartment owner and need people I trust to do the work I need. Since I met Jim it's been nothing but a pleasure. He's ALWAYS been prompt, professional, knowledgable and a complete gentleman. The work he's done has never had to be looked at again, fixed or adjusted. I can't thank them enough for everything they've done for me. If nothing else the piece of mind that I have is priceless. Thanks again Jimmy.

Old Republic Home Warranty uses Kizen Plumbing. I had two different plumbing issues and Jim was great on both issues (shower and water heater). The only issue is getting a prompt call back. I highly recommend using Kizen Plumbling.

I have been using Jim at Kizen for miscellaneous repairs for over ten years. He is punctual, polite and efficient. In addition, the prices are fair and I've never felt like I've been "oversold" on things I didn't need. He's gone above and beyond on several occasions to make sure he fixed our problem when he came out, even if it meant having to run to the hardware store for a part to get the job done.

They screwed up the repair of a tub faucet and then refused to stand behind their work and fix the problem. I would suggest to anyone that they NEVER USE KIZEN FOR A PLUMBING REPAIR. I had to make multiple calls to my home warranty insurance provider (Old Republic Home Warranty), and eventually had to demand supervisor after supervisor until one agreed to send a different plumbing company out to fix the problem. Kizen's sustomer service rep was extremely rude and unhelpful during the whole ordeal, and the Kizen technician seemed quite incompetent, as this was a simple valve replacement
