There's a rash of scam artists out there claiming to be locksmiths. They prey on people who urgently need their locks opened by quoting a low price over the phone, showing up, opening the lock in a destructive manner, and then pressuring the customer to pay exorbitant fees for their work. I'm not one of them.
Take note that I'll want to see some evidence that you have a right to enter the property. I may snap a photo of you or your ID. I never want to gouge you when you're stuck in a bad spot and just want to get into your car or home, but I will charge a little more if I have to leave the dinner table or roll out of bed to come help you out.

I can highly recommend David! He is really knowledgeable, professional, and knows his business inside out.
I called and left David a message, and he called back that afternoon. He asked me some questions, I sent him a couple pictures of my door levers, and he knew exactly what I needed.
David was on time, had everything he was going to need (and then some!), and did a sensational job. He found some door levers that match the 30 year old door hardware we have, and made everything work perfectly. He was even able to key new locks to our front door lock, and was able to make me new keys on

David was super easy to coordinate with! Per his voicemail I left the enquiry on his website. He called back within few hours to confirm the rekey task and setup a time.
Transparent pricing on his website was also very very convenient!
On the day of, David was extremely responsive on the call and actually was able to arrive earlier in the day! He was quick in the rekey task and promptly answered my other questions regarding smart locks etc.

Dave was everything you would hope you would fine in a locksmith. Integrity, honest, happy to do great work and overall an awesome person. I guess that's really what we would hope fore in anyone but Dave's got it in spades when he came out to rekey our house he didn't gouge us on price but gave us an overly fair price (was expecting multiple 100's of dollars and came out to even 100.) I've been in Washington a minute and never once have I been able to say I felt like I got a bargain, but Dave fit the bill. He did the work quickly, professionally and was responsive to

David is prompt, professional and extremely easy to work with. His pricing is upfront and very reasonable. He was very accommodating and gave us an earlier appointment than the one we had previously scheduled because something opened up on his calendar at the last minute. We had 7 locks to rekey and David did the job within an hour. He arrived on time and was fast, efficient and thorough. While rekeying the water heater enclosure, he noticed a leak and went out of his way to recommend a quick solution to mitigate an emergency. I would definitely recommend him and would work with him again.

I only contact David for re-keys, repairing broken locks, lock replacements, and any other lock related items. Over the past 5-6 years David has been excellent to work with, very communicative , and super reliable. Wouldn't bother to try anyone else for the properties I manage or for my own property. If I could give more stars I would.

Was easy to communicate with, prompt, scheduled my door hardware installation and rekeying same-day, and did a great job. He could have charged double what I paid and I still would have been extremely satisfied, but I also appreciate his very reasonable prices. David was timely, efficient, and professional. He replaced a deadbolt and a mailbox lock for me and gave me advise on how to set up a new garage clicker by myself. He laid out all of his costs in an email and I paid the same amount it would have cost to have a different locksmith just show up (I checked). I called, he answered right away, arrived to me in 15 minutes, resolved my main lock problem, resolved another lock need I didn't even know I had, and made sure I had enough

If you are on yelp and looking for a locksmith, stop reading other reviews and call or email David. You won't be sorry. Excellent experience from email correspondence, to scheduling a good time, to installing 2 locks and re-keying a shed knob. Price is super reasonable and the work was done quickly. I didn't know re-keying would be so reasonably priced, so now I can return the knob I had bought thinking it would need replacement. David suggested a re-key and it worked. He also helped me program my e-lock he installed before he left. And wore a mask. 5/5 all day!

I've had a busted-up door off the garage since I bought this house. Works fine, but somebody tried to kick it in at some point, and the previous owner did a DIY patch job on the frame. This past weekend, the lock assembly just fell right out of the door knob, so it was time to stop ignoring the issue.
David diagnosed everything and bid the job from photos I emailed him. He showed up this morning not only on time, but a few minutes early. He got right to work, all masked up and completely professional. He noticed stuff that he thought might add a few bucks to the bill and made sure I understood

Hands-down the best. At my advanced age, I have experienced the services of many locksmiths, and David is the clear leader of the pack. He is super articulate and thoughtful, and the work is so good you really don't even think about the price.
But wait...it gets better...his pricing is reasonable, actually seems a bit low.
