AAA Fire Protection
Our story began in 1954. Over the last six decades, we've grown to become one of the largest full service fire protection companies in Western Washington. While our headquarters is in Seattle, our technicians are equipped and organized to provide service throughout Western Washington. Our job is to make your job easier. We do this by being prepared to handle your most urgent and complex fire protection needs, as well as helping you to avoid surprises in the future.
Services
Our story began in 1954. Family-owned and operated with headquarters in Seattle for over 60 years, we've grown to become a name synonymous with fire protection in the Northwest. Providing one of the most comprehensive service and product offerings in the region, backed by the largest fleet of service technicians, we stand ready.
Alarm & Sprinkler ITM Technician: This individual is responsible for managing the Alarm and Sprinkler testing, inspection and maintenance needs of a route of customers. This individual is dual certified in Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinkler ITM at the local, state and national (when applicable) level.
Our roots are in the Inspection Testing and Maintenance side of the business, rather than design/build. Our customers have come to understand that to serve them long-term, they need a fire protection vendor that speaks their language. Once a building and its fire protection systems have been built and commissioned, customers need a partner with a focus on 'service', rather than 'blueprints'.
Our licensed and experienced estimators, designers, project managers, and field staff ensure your project will be completed on time and to specification and our equipment will perform properly, providing protection you can count on. We have 40 years of experience performing code-required retrofitting and installation of fire protection systems.
We have a long tradition of supporting the general contracting community. From 'drop shipping' or installation of top of the line fire extinguishers or stock and custom cabinetry, to partnering on projects involving the installation of wide range of suppression and detection equipment, we have the experience to deliver.

4 stars for the two guys that showed up to service/inspected my smoke alarm system and ONE star to the service of just trying to schedule the inspection at their office. They never called me back in August when my appointment was canceled. I had to call multiple times to get this appointment. Poor service at the office.

I've used AAA at most of the multifamily communities I've worked at in Seattle and have been quite happy to work with their teams. The techs are always a delight to have on site, their support team members have been very helpful over the phone, and the office personnel are professional and courteous. They keep us on track with our inspections and help us to make sure our staff and residents are safe. Thanks for being great to work with!

I’m on the board of a 90 unit condo built in 1969. AAA fire has been servicing our facility (and ancient fire alarm system) for years and they have literally “saved the day” many times. I’d give them 10 stars!

What a RACKET!
Not impressed with their inspection services over the last couple of years at our condos.
They miss things from one year to the next and sight it the following year.
They are constantly trying to upsell on services not needed.
Extremely slow to respond to phone calls, emails (even from the Seattle City Fire Department).
Plus the inspector didn't wear a mask while the state, city and county were under a mask mandate.
They are however quick to send bills. Your first statement after 30 days will appear on neon hot pink paper. A little much while you trying to arrange

I didn't even realize the service period on our fire extinguishers was running out, but AAA sent a technician right on time to service them. They were finished in just a few minutes and it was the smoothest possible service appointment.

Morgan was the Tech who inspected our boat’s fixed fire system and the other fire extinguishers and was very thorough, knowledgeable and helpful! He was professional and the services were reasonably priced. I highly recommend AAAFire Protection.

I work professionally with the company as a property manager and have always found them extremely responsive and knowledgeable. I prefer their services to comparable companies due to the professionalism and willingness to explain complex fire protection terms to me!

I have a couple paintball tanks I use to make seltzer water as the Sodastream exchange program is about $1.40/oz compared to $0.40/oz when you buy just the gas from AAA, so refilling (2) 24 oz paintball tanks saves about $50.

These guys are set up to do it and it's easy.

I've worked with AAA at three different employers over the past five years, and each visit with them has been a pleasure. They arrive on time, work efficiently, and have a great deal of expertise. Each individual I've worked with has been competent and friendly. They are passionate about their work and take seriously the importance of their role in improving fire safety.

I get co2 tanks refilled for my home brewing. They are quick, reasonable and friendly. If I had one wish, it would be weekend hours. It's hard to get away during business hours.

Don't trust them with our HOA "inspections" any longer. We feel like they are going to force us into unnecessary, expensive work... not really needed... but reported to fire dept. So our hands our tied. Which they have now done once.

I've been using AAA Fire Protection for a couple years at my workplace and each time that I've contacted them they have been very quick to respond, have a variety of services, and do a fantastic job when they are on site. They answer all of my questions and call when they are going to be late if they are. Fantastic service!

Company has supplied service to our community for years. Recently they underwent a change of management I was told, what that means: No show and no call by company. When rescheduled, again no notice they were coming, just showed up. Told them I would have to provide access and that would take about an hour to move everything. They couldn't wait they said. They then went onto do rest of community, so they could have waited it would seem. Calling company got a nice receptionist who then told me no manager available since I would have preferred a resolution to writing this. Since I sign their

Gabe Dunlap is the real MVP. I was getting ready to switch to a different company because I got no response to multiple calls and emails, but then they assigned Gabe to our account, and he was professional, responsive, and all about getting the job done right. Give that man a raise!

Absolutely horrible customer service and follow through! I am on my condo HOA board and every year I coordinate the annual testing/inspection of our building's sprinkler system and fire alarm. We've used AAA as our vendor for this service for at least 7 years.

The most recent inspection revealed some sprinkler heads were overdue for testing and the Seattle Fire Department contacted me and said if the issue is not corrected in 30 days my building will be fined. I looked back at old emails and see that I instructed AAA to take care of the sprinkler head testing/replacement back in 2015

As mentioned in other reviews, if you have a kegerator this the place to go. $15 for a 5 lbs CO2 fill and it takes 5 minutes. None of the silliness of exchanging your tank.

If you own a kegerator, you need to bookmark these guys. They provide CO2 refills and are open M-F 8 to 5pm. My tank was drained on a Thursday afternoon and I freaked out. The beer stopped pouring. I woke up early Friday morning, got into work by 7:30am, unhooked the CO2 tank, and made it to AAA by 8:05am. They had my tank refilled and ready to roll in 10min. It was insanely fast service. I was out the door and back to the office by 8:30am and none-the-wiser to my peeps. Beer was restored and flowing that Friday for lunch and all were happy. Long story short, these guys are awesome. Great

Walked in with a brand new Co2 tank for keg draft system. A 5 pound tank refill cost $15.00 and I only had to wait for 5 minutes. The staff is friendly, too.

Great service, however the accounting department was unbelievably rude when we called to make payment. Our business name was misspelled, billing done in blunt green sharpie pen- very unprofessional appearance. She was curt, insulting and short without cause. So much so that I waited an additional month to remit as I wanted to decide whether I wanted to talk to an owner or supervisor to complain. In the end, I paid the bill and asked them not to return. Service was good but avoid the billing department.

I am a condo manager of several years and have used this company many, many times. They are reliable, good communicators and have great service. They take the time to educate the customer, even on complicated fire systems. They are not the cheapest company out there, but being able to rely on their honesty ultimately will save a lot of angst and unneeded expense.

We got unexpected phone call from the fire department, saying that the hood in our restaurant wasn't up the safety codes and regulations.
We were told by the fire department that AAA fire and safty have reported us after they come in and inspect our hood. I don't understand why AAA did not inform us first before sending in the inspection report to the fire department.

Instead of being on our side as their customer, I find that AAA to be unreliable and selfish. I will not recommend AAA Fire and Safety.
