James and his crew are so professional! We have hired James for cutting up a huge tree the was downed by a storm and shredded another that was dead. And later red him to remove and shred a diseased one. This last time we hired him to prune a big oak the was close to our home. He and his crew does an excellent job. We will hire him for future jobs regarding our trees.

James and his guys did a great job taking down multiple stumps throughout the front and back of my house. No task was to great for these guys and as they found new stumps they didn't hesitate to remove them. Thanks again for the great job and service.

James and his crew did an absolutely awesome job removing a large tree from our yard that had started to fall apart. It was a significant job and completed quickly. His price was competitive, he was responsive to the inquiry, took the time to assess what needed to be done before making a recommendation and quoting the work, and cleaned everything up when the work was complete. I had a number of guys come out to give estimates on trimming 11 palms, a Chinese elm and an ash tree. Right off the bat I like the honesty that the owner James had. He was straight up about the price and he heard our concerns and what exactly we wanted. My parents really love this Chinese elm in their back yard and James and his men really took their time with this tree and made it look really beautiful. We've hired LTC forestry twice now to trim pepper, oak, citrus, and pine trees on our property. James and his crew are excellent and we recommend them to anyone needing tree trimming. They work efficiently, clean up the surrounding area after the trimming is complete, and are reasonably priced. We also discovered that they sell and deliver high-quality mulch.

Laan's was a recommendation from a neighbor and they did a great job trimming and clearing debris from our palms and birds of paradise. They work fast, do a great job, and left everything clean and looking fantastic. Definitely recommend them to anyone needing tree trimming!

I contacted James very last minute with a storm bearing down on us and a sick, weakened tree near the house. James came by and evaluated the situation as urgent as our tree was ready to go. Next morning he was out and the tree was down in the matter of an hour. Our second tree was also sick and ready to go so he took care of that for us too. Very reasonable pricing and very professional. I'm out of trees now, but I would recommend Laans to anyone.

As before, James and his crew did an absolutely outstsnding job.
With the winds we have been getting, we were getting worried about an extremely tall and large pine in our backyard that was leaning toward our house possibly falling as we have had 2 large trees fall since the fires we had up here in Alpine burned about 2\3 of our property, and a few trees. The pine we had them cut today also had grown\split into two very large "trunks" that were about 20 feet above the base of the tree.

We had 6 very large eucalyptus trees include one that over 100' and one over 90' both dangerously close to our home and James and his crew were able to guide every branch safely to the ground without any collateral damage. His crew was really nice and flexible with my needs to get around the property when I needed. Laan Tree Care quoting, payment and invoicing were all easy and very professional. I had put out a mass request on whatever Angie's List became. James responded almost immediately. I sent him pictures of what I needed done. He sent over what I thought was a very fair quote and we scheduled a time.

He had some mechanical difficulties & called to let me know asap...we might need to reschedule. He then followed up with a "we have to reschedule". No problem. He was right on time, super nice and super helpful.

Called Laans Tree Care to take care of 7 palm trees, his estimate was so good I included 5 more for a total of 12, these trees were an absolute mess with dead palm leaves hanging down and those seed pods that just make a mess everywhere, James came out exactly when he said he would and took care of the palms, cleaned everything up and now these palms have never looked this good, James and his crew are very professional and very friendly, I would highly recommend Laans Tree Care.

James was a great pleasure to work with. He was recommended by our neighbor when we were getting estimates for a Mexican Palm removal. James was very professional and charged a reasonable price. We could not grind the stump, but he was very flexible and accommodated our request. His clean cut took it down to about 4" of the ground, which was way lower than we expected.

I missed out on all the action of the actual removal, but my son enjoyed watching the palm come down.

Great service on dry, hardwood firewood delivery! James charged a bit extra but delivered outside the 30 mile radius of Ramona. Said he would get to us within a week but actually delivered earlier than promised!

James came out last week and gave us an estimate and we were impressed ... smart, personable guy. We asked about whether we should have a pine tree laced or trimmed and while he could have made more money by doing it, he recommended against it.

Today James came out with his crew (Michael & Cole) and got to work trimming our ~20 palm trees of varying heights with an extension pole or a ladder and even climbing. Nice hardworking guys!

This company is amazing! They came last week and gave me the estimate (which took less than 15 minutes) to remove two dead Mexican fan palm trees from my back yard. The trees were on a hill and surrounded by dirt, rock and fence on one side and concrete on the other. They removed both trees and the stumps in under three hours. They even cleaned everything up! They also helped me put part of my fence back up that i had to take down to enable them to bring in the stump grinder. Overall experience, nothing short of amazing! I would highly recommend this company to anyone that needs to have any trees

An excellent service -which I will use again and would be glad to recoomend to anyone who needs tree help. James Laan kept me aprised of the timing, he was knowlegeable and had a good eye for what needed ot be done, it was a good price and they cleaned up after themsleves. AND he was personable and friendly. In shrt, a pleasue o odo business with him.

When all was said and done, Laans Tree Care removed 5 large trees (2 by crane!). I highly recommend James and his crew for any tree service you may need. Very knowledgeable, professional with great rates too! I will definitely be using them for any future tree services. Thanks, James!

James and his crew are awesome. They have been trimming our pepper tree every year and it always looks amazing when they are done. Their prices are very reasonable and they do an amazing job cleaning up when they are done.
