Candidate must have passion for Interior Design. Some experience in Interior Design is preferred. Candidate will be require to but not limited to answering phone calls, emails and fax, keeping area safe and clean and/or lifting a minimum of 10 lbs of material. I've done business with Bergen Brick, Stone and Tile on several occasions and the service was always good. We're putting together a fire pit and ordered the materials, but just realized that a "less than pallet charge/strap" charge ($30) had been added to the overall bill.
Have not seen that one before. It's not like these materials are inexpensive. And what happens when the next customer orders from the same materials lot? I'm willing to bet good money that subsequent customers will be subject to that charge as well.
I'm sorely tempted to cancel my order and shop elsewhere.

I walked into the showroom and was very surprised at the unfriendly greeting I received....I thought these were hard times for small businesses! The front desk person then asked another man to give us a tour of their yard. While I was asking questions, the employee took a phone call and completely ignored me. I waited for a few minutes and then walked out.

I liked the selection of tile.The person who helped me with my selections was very knowledgable. There was a manufacturing defect with the tile I had ordered and they sent it back to the manufacturer and ordered a larger tile. No problems there.
Why am I giving two stars? Because I was sold SO MUCH extra tile that is now sitting in my crawl space because it can't be returned and I can't use it anywhere else.
If you do buy here, double check the amount of tile that they are telling you to order. I wound up with at least another 33% more floor and wall tile and 50% more of the pencil

I tried three times as a walk in customer. They are very understaffed so an appointment is absolutely necessary to discuss their stone and paver products. Which they did do, after hours. Know exactly what it is and how much you want. As a serious "DIYer" I came with square footage, material list, and design of the project. Based on this they wrote the order on the number pallets of material I needed. I ended up with one Pallet + (1 ton) of leveling sand and one + pallet of Pavers untouched. They charged me a 30% restocking charge on the volumes they calculated that I needed.
