My daughter called them and asked them to service an HVAC system in a house she was preparing to sell and there was nothing wrong with it everything worked and there were no issues there she was just doing it for good measure. But the service technician called her and said he condemns her system for no particular reason other than its age which was installed in 1998.

I called to have a working HVAC system serviced as a preliminary step before putting the home on the market. I should mention that there had been absolutely no reason for concern prior to my calling them. The Service Tech came out, called me at work to tell me a bearing was going out and that the unit was leaking refrigerant. He additionally let me know that he was “condemning” the unit, saying that it was too old to work on...and yet, after using such a strong term...didn’t seem to want to have to answer any of my questions. I cannot praise Scott Temperature enough. The motor in our furnace went out and we were told by another company that the part wouldn't be available for 7-10 days. Our house was sitting at 49 degrees so waiting it out wasn't ideal. I gave Scott Temperature a call just to see if they might have the motor more readily available. Within 20 minutes of my call, they had a repair man over at my house getting part information. Well all we can say is this is one awesome Heating and Cooling company! Sara Jane, the owner, was beyond professional and helpful throughout the entire large Daikin Mini-ductless split system new construction install (3 Outdoor Compressors and 11 wall units). We have used them for new installations as well as repairs on existing units that they didn't install. Incredibly responsive and professional. Techs are of the highest quality and get things fixed the first time. Called today (9am on a friday) with a house being 88 degrees because our blower wasnt working. The nice lady on the phone made no promises, but was optimistic and said she would follow up close to 3pm. I got a call at 1:30pm with the driver in route. The tech replaced the blower and was pretty awesome to explain the process, as i was curious. After a little freon added to AC unit, my house is now 77 after only a handfull of hours. Would highly recommend these folks...honest, fast, and they follow up!
