Grubb Tree was responsive and fast to get us a quote and, when accepted, complete our job. They provided flexible options to help offset the cost of the project, but their rates were, in my opinion, fair. I'd use their services again.

We used Grubb to remove a tree which had fallen from our neighbors yard onto our house during a snowstorm. I was surprised they were able to come so quickly after the storm which brought down many trees in the area. They were a pleasure to work with and their crew were careful and efficient. Will use again in the future for any tree removal/pruning needed.

We had a large tree fall from a recent snow storm along with another one close to falling on my home. Luke & his team were quick to respond, evaluate, and survey the area. A few days later, David, Dequan, and Simon came over to get the job done. Even though my yard is snow & ice ridden, they were quick, efficient, and extremely professional in clearing the area. As requested, they left a neat large pile of lumber. Big shout out to those three guys! I'm already recommending them to my friends & family, and will be in contact for future projects.

We have used Grubb Tree for various tree removals over the years and have always been extremely satisfied with their service. They have cut down both live and dead trees, removed fallen trees, and repaired our fence, and every single time they have been prompt, professional, and thorough. Their consultations are incredibly helpful, and they provide realistic and accurate estimates for the work that needs to be done. They also always leave our yard looking better than it did before they came. I highly recommend their services for any landscaping and/or tree removal.

Grubb Tree Service was incredibly professional and helpful! They were so kind to come out in the cold and snow and cut down two large trees that had fallen in our backyard crushing our garden and other trees. They worked diligently and even took the extra time to stack all of the firewood for us on our patio. To top it off, right before they left our garage door got stuck and wouldn't open and they went out of their way to help us get my car out and make sure the door was safe. Luke Grubb just built a deck for me and I couldn't be happier. I am in the renovation business so I deal with contractors all the time. I am known for expecting a high standard of work from contractors.
Luke and his crew went beyond my expectations! The finish details on the deck are perfect. The crew is extremely professional and did a thorough cleanup once the project was completed. Luke walked me through the entire process and called me often just to check in.

The Grubb team has been incredibly helpful and professional over these past few months. I had a halfway-collapsed tree that was dangerously close to hitting my propane tank, and Grubb came out to take a look the very same day I called and had the tree completely removed by the next morning. Great group of folks working at this company who have always been completely genuine and easy to work with. Already booking time with them for another project in early 2022. Highly recommend this group over other similar companies in the greater Albemarle area.

The team was great! Thoughtful, polite men and so careful - I was greatly impressed with their attention to safety. The giant oaks were hanging over our house and despite the difficulty of their task, I never had a moment of worry once they arrived. We recently had our second experience with Grubb Tree Service. As with our first, this one was a high quality, professional experience from start to finish. This time their work involved a major clean-up of our lot as well as a small construction renovation of the area around a pool we are bringing back to life.

As before, Luke and Billy followed up our initial phone call to them with a visit to our property to assess what we wanted done. We had decades of fallen trees and limbs on the lot that we wanted cut up and moved to a central, out of site location. We had a number of leaning spars
