Here's my issue. Up until we found out the sales guy Adam absolutely lied to our face, I thought things went great and recommended them to friends and coworkers.
We just got solar last year - Adam Dockery was our solar guy for both us and our neighbor. He promised us that the perk for 2021 was that we would get a check back for $9,000 after our taxes are filed in 2022. We can decide to keep that check and our bill would increase from 95.00/month to $120.00. Or if we signed the check over to west haven it would stay at the $95. They also told this to our two neighbors who did solar at the

TL;DR they do not communicate with the client, they disappear and show up on random days without notice to only do part of the job. they schedule days and dont show or call.
Update 1/14/22: On 1/10/22 i received a text that said my roof would be replaced on Friday 1/14/22, i replied that i had a trip planned but i would cancel. Thursday 1/13/22, roofers just showed up to do my roof...on the WRONG DAY. They pulled my roof off, left without a status, the next day no workers/no roof i got a call saying they wont be there but will show up saturday, good thing i cancelled my trip and took a day off

BEWARE SCAMMERS- They will sell you a Tesla battery with the promise of a PGE rebate but then renege and say you don't qualify- promised rebate went from $11k to $2,320 after a year and a half of following up. I would not have purchased the battery if I wasn't promised the rebate. They deny their salesperson, no longer there, said anything and then they point out small print in the contract that I don't believe was there when signed.

The sales rep for this company came to our door after accosting our 17yo son in our driveway and aggressively giving him a pitch. He told him we already have solar and wouldn't be interested. Then the guy came to our door. He was most definitely high. Eyes dilated, mumbling, stumbling around. Neighbors reported in our FB group the same thing. And that he and another rep were looking in cars and garages. Completely unprofessional and aggressive solicitation practices. I answered via Ring and was polite and listened to him but declined since we already have solar service... he would not leave

Things didn't go quite as smoothly as I hoped, but still mostly ok due to Karan in the office. Constant delays and lack of communication were very frustrating, but Karan stepped in to get me information multiple times.
Ken also continued to be awesome and all the field folks were great.

Special shout out to Adam D. my sales / point man. He promised me a lot, to the point that another company suggested he was not being truthful, and Westhaven completely delivered. They got 22 panels and 2 powerwalls installed in about a month from me signing my contract. Install guys were all great, and nobody fell off my crazy steep 50 degree roof. Im pretty sure it took the county and PGE longer to approve and permit than it took Westhaven to complete the project.

We had the installation done this week of two Tesla batteries. We used Westhaven because they seemed to have good reviews and their pricing was reasonable. We understood going into this that cheaper doesn't mean better and for an investment of this magnitude we wanted it done right. I had roof replacement and solar installation and man were they awesome! The lead roof tech, Chris, was outstanding. He confirmed all the agreed work that was promised at the time of my initial visit and was extremely detail oriented. He also would inform me of the days projects and let me know when he was leaving and what the next days project would be. He also made sure I was 100% happy with the final results before he left upon completion of the work. He worked through wind, rain, and high heat on occasion to get things done. All of this, while

Westhaven did an outstanding job with the installation of our generator. During all of the stay-at-home issues regarding the Covid-19 virus, Devin was exemplary in staying in contact with me. As soon as restrictions were lifted, the work was completed. Trever was in charge of the work regarding our installation. Westhaven was amazing from knocking on my door and explaining all about solar and how it would benefit us to getting us on the grid. Kelly our sales rep was very knowledgeable and professional. Next came install and the install guys were very professional and thorough to the point they even replaced a few cracked tiles on my roof that were already cracked, definatly went the extra mile. There customer service call line is great and again very knowledgeable and helpful. I have already referred 3 of our neighbors who are interested in solar. I would give these guys 10 stars if that was an option
