True Light Solar started in Lincoln, CA from a realization of a real need. Travis, an Environmental Science graduate, was looking out at a neighbor's dirty solar panels which had been installed only a couple months prior. He began to ponder the dirt and grime covering the panels and how the output of the panels was compromised from the build up.
We recently received some data from a customer showing the results of the solar panel cleaning done by True Light Solar. The customer was experiencing decreased power generation this year in 2017 (shown on the ORANGE line) compared to power generation in 2016 (shown on the BLUE line). True Light Solar cleaned all 16 panels on 9/20/17 resulting in a 25% increase in daily generation and a 20% increase from 2016 when the panels were almost new.*

We had True Light out today to install a bird barrier around our solar, spikes on the roof and to get it cleaned. We couldn’t be happier with our experience. We live in an area that gets very dusty!!!! AND there are pigeons everywhere that like to live under panels and mess them up... so we did a pre-emptive strike and installed the mesh under the panels and had the panels cleaned and inspected. It was mid-range in price -- but it was excellent service and worth every penny! Very good communication! They get booked up quickly so I had to wait almost a month for my pigeon abatement...thankfully, pigeons weren't a big problem for me. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRUE LIGHT SOLAR! We'll be calling them again in the spring to clean our panels again.

True Light has cleaned and inspected my panels a few times and recently installed pest abatement barriers to keep pigeons from making a mess, damaging my roof, and waking me up. True Light Solar has been cleaning our panels for the past year and a half or so. I'm so happy that we found them! Travis and Lindsey are amazing, honest and have excellent customer service. Travis is a true professional. He came out to clean my solar panels and discovered my system was not working. He made a call to the inverter company who then said the inverter needed replacement. Rather than clean a disabled system, Travis left without charging anything; not even a service call. I was able to get the inverter repaired and within days, Travis came out to clean my panels. I don't remember seeing them so clean. Even the latest good rain didn't make them look like they do now that Travis did his magic. In our talks, I now discovered True Light Solar also does moss removal

I recently needed to rid my solar panels of pigeons.. after calling around I decided to choose true light, and I'm glad I did. Travis was very friendly and knowledgeable about what needed to be done.. the date was set..got a reminder before.. He was scheduled between 8-9am..at 7:40 I got a text saying he was on his way. He arrived at 8.. He immediately started the project.. He worked till after 3:00.. no breaks.. I didn't mind writing that ck. I appreciated his hard work.. the next morning I went out with my dog..normally I'd have to sweep or hose down all the poo, but to my delight

I have been having huge issues with pigeons on my roof, under my solar panels and causing a huge mess in my backyard and side of my house. I called Lindsey at True Light Solar and she was fantastic. I scheduled the install of some pigeon barriers, a cleanup off all the pigeon crap, and had my solar panels cleaned. Travis showed up early and was extremely professional, knowledgeable and a hard worker. Travis completed the job early and it looked great. He even noticed another place on the roof that the pigeons might start to stay since he took away there spot and he installed a barriers

Exceptional service! Lindsey was great in helping us set up the appointment and answered all of our questions while Travis did fantastic work cleaning the gutters and our solar panels.
