We found The Window People while investigating replacement windows. While I rarely review businesses, I would be remiss if I didn't share our incredible experience with this small Stamford based business. Every person we worked with from the office staff (David) to the owner (Ted) to the employees (Cody) were honest and professional from the outset. More remarkably, after they completed the installation nearly 2 years later, they responded immediately when a little problem cropped up. After cleaning the windows, two windows proved challenging (turns out... owner error!) to restore to a locked position

The Window People replaced 12 windows in my c1910 built house of varying sizes and design. From start to finish the process was straightforward and hassle free. The team worked with me to look at various designs and options, and the fitting was a lot loss painful than expected. The widows fit extremely well and the difference in noise and insulation was immediately noticeable. They even replaced an entire unit that had been cosmetically damaged without me even asking. Pricing was transparent and I paid what they originally quoted. I would certainly recommend The Window People

I have been a very satisfied customer of The Window People for almost three decades. They have installed several doors for us over the years. Recently they removed and replaced all 10 glass window panels on two 8' wide Andersen vintage bow windows. The job was done perfectly, even though the original windows were installed more than half a century ago. Ted was able to find Andersen panels to replace the old ones. His competent workers fit the new glass and wood panels into the existing window frames perfectly, so we didn't need to remove the original wooden frames, thus saving us a great deal of

He was on site daily checking in to make sure everything was going right & also to make sure we were happy. Our craftsmen were excellent. Since we bought our contemporary home in 1993 (at that time built 32 years before), we have used Ted and his Window People firm for all our door and window needs.
