We had a front door for our home that needed to be restained and refinished due to extensive exposure to the elements. Due to the design of the door and the existing stain on the door, was not a very straightforward job. I had a number of painting contractors come over to look at the job. Some said it would be too involved so they declined the job. The others all gave estimates and descriptions of the plan for the job. Edvin of EJ Painting was one of the first to assess the job. Working with EJ and his team was seamless. EJ responded to my inquiry immediately and I could tell right away that he would be professional and efficient. We had dry rot in a couple of places and it was a big relief to find someone who could handle the dry rot as well as the exterior painting job with confidence. His team was friendly, courteous and really good at their work, including fast and efficient clean-up. I'd recommend EJ to anyone!

I've been wrangling contractors for multiple projects in our new home (and recently had a bad experience w/one), so I was initially worried about bringing another contractor in. However, Edvin and his team were amazing to work with. His team was meticulous and did an excellent job painting our cabinets and installing hardware throughout the house.

Edvin replied to my request for quotes super fast. He came the same day to assess the job and the next morning as promised he had a painter ready to do the job.
Showed up before the scheduled time. He was super professional, did great job and cleaned after ward as if nothing was moved. Super happy with the job of removing wire that were installed in the wall.

Edvin was fantastic to work with - very quick to respond to any questions, and incredibly knowledgeable throughout the whole process. We had the entire exterior of our 1914 home painted, complete with intricate trim and carpentry work. Edvin's team handled the whole job, including the difficult work of replacing part of the siding to match the original double-OG lug siding. They used quality paints and I couldn't be happier with the final finished work. Highly recommend!

Edvin came by to give a bid to fix a bad prior painting job by a different painter. He was very responsive, set a prompt appointment date, and showed up early. He obviously knows his stuff and was able to pinpoint the cause of why the last paint job came out so poorly. What impressed me the most was that he recommended I wait until the Spring to get the best outcome since I live right in the fog belt. Although his price was very reasonable and I most appreciated his honesty. I will be calling him for my house in March.

Edvin and his EJ Painting crew are master craftsmen and I highly recommend them for any project you may have. We recently used them to handle several demanding painting projects that included repairing and repainting water damaged dry wall, patching and painting a recurring stress crack and replacing caulking that had become discolored. They also re-painted a section of our kitchen cabinets that had been damaged. The cabinets were tricky as the original paint was custom conversion varnish with a glaze overlay. This is a fantastic reliable company. From comparable estimates to top of the line quality work. I cannot recommend this company enough. They have done the exterior of my home including colored stucco. They continued with the inside of my home with slight different colors and the blend was done to perfection. The crown mounding and doors of my home were re-done as well. All the scratches from my dogs and scrapes are gone and the doors look brand new.
