Bay Area Arborist Cooperative is a partnership of 12 certified arborists working together to provide quality tree care in the San Francisco Bay Area. We offer expert tree care including tree cutting, pruning, & trimming, tree maintenance, tree planting, tree removal, root pruning, certified arborist consultations and reports, and tree cabling.
Our cooperators are licensed and have years of experience in pruning city trees. We are a cooperatively run tree company that supports the local Bay Area community. Root pruning is a process in which clean cuts are made to allow for healthy re-growth of lost root systems due to nearby building and construction. Our arborists assess the need for this procedure and are careful to avoid damaging the tree and the surrounding property when pruning roots.

Bay Area Arborist Cooperative was incorporated in 1995 with the belief that cooperation, rather than competition, would enable us to provide the best tree care service in the Bay Area. This group is a well kept secret.
Greg Stagi has been trimming my trees for about 5 years. He has worked on my 50 foot pine in the backyard and my 50 foot cypress in the front. He also made a 50 foot hedge out of 12 local trees that now cover the one side of my property. He and his crew use ropes, stop when they find a birds nest and give the wildlife a chance. He carefully picks each branch to trip and knows exactly what to do. He just finished my lawson cypress in the front of my house. My lawson is an old gal and we are trying to keep her healthy as long as possible. his work is simply
