Mr Arbor (Hector) was a great choice. They took down some really big eucalyptus trees on a steep hillside. They were competitively priced and did the work quickly and effectively. They even finished one day less than their estimate.
They are also a very professional outfit. One of their workers mistakenly caused minor damage to a fence post when they were removing the huge trees. When I told the owner he came out and fixed the fence like new with no haggling. I know things can go a little sideways on huge jobs like this. I really respect a company that stands by their work.

I can't say enough about Hector Chan and his team. They did an outstanding job of dead redwood tree removal and heavy trimming of big oaks. The were fast, efficient and left the property raked and clean. I highly recommend them. I'm fact, two of my neighbors, having seen my yard, have already used them and thanked me for the referral.

We had a 60 foot tree fall during a windy day and hector and his crew were amazing. Hector came out at 7:15am and by 12:30pm he has a crew and our house ready to remove it. All the gentleman were polite, professional and fast! They cleaned everything up and took the enormously large tree away. Hector was a pleasure to work with! I highly recommended Hector and his crew!

When our Monterey Pine tree died we asked our neighbors for recommendations and Hector was mentioned by many people. He and his team arrived on time, worked very quickly and professionally to get the tree removed, and cleaned up after themselves. He was also very reasonable in his quote. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and professional arborist.

You should watch the work as it progresses to make sure they cut back all the sections you want, but the guys have a good eye for aesthetics all on their own. They will do whatever you ask as long as it is within the time frame and scope of work agreed upon in the estimate. Be sure you have a clear understanding on how long they will spend on your job. Highly recommend Hector and his crew! They were by FAR the most reasonable quote (I luckily booked them within half a week of getting the quote) to trim/prune 2 HUGE oak trees and remove a tall pine and another tall flowery tree. They did a very solid days work without much break at all (all 6 in their crew) their equipment was more than adequate to help their efficiency in getting the job done. They were clean and courteous throughout- just thoroughly impressed with their work! I now have a clean yard and a lot more sunshine in my home. Thank you so much Hector!

Amazing...amazing work by Mr Arbor Tree Care. I needed a small 20ft plum tree removed because the roots and fruits were growing and dropping onto my neighbor’s side of the fence. Ruben arrived early on the day of the job, and he was able to get the small tree removed within less than 2 hours. Couldn’t ask for better service from a reliable tree service company.

The bid was fair and the owner and his workers arrived early this morning as scheduled. The four trees were trimmed with care and the entire area was cleaned up to where we could hardly tell five guys had been working in the yard. We were very satisfied with the job they did and will hire them again as needed.

Hector immediately returned my call and arrived the next day for an estimate. We hired him on the spot to remove one tree + grind stump and they returned the next morning with a team of 5. Team was in and out in less than an hour. Impressive. Fast, efficient, clean and courteous. We live in the walnut grove of Novato and there are a number of sick walnut trees in our area. Hector suggested we deep fertilize and was confident we'll see improvements in 3 months, that was inexpensive and good news that they'll be fine with nourishment. We needed to have a huge pine tree removed from our back yard. Mr Arbor's tree care came and in one day , very efficiently removed the tree and hauled away all the wood and debris. As a team these guys are the best, I was amazed at watching how fast they worked and got it done, especially after other tree services told us it would take 2-5 days. I highly recommend them for any and all tree work!

Left concrete blocks on property. Left branches on roof.
Did not complete trim job. Left one huge fourteen foot branch on property.
Had to pay other craftsmen to clean up his mess.
Called daily for ten days to have him come over - never returned a message. Completely ignore the call.
I will be pursuing him in small claims court.
Strongly recommend against people using him - told him I would post a negative review and he didn't seem to care.

Called multiple times with no response. Trying to reach Hector because he promised to fix our mailbox post and base which his crew damaged while working on neighbors (Los Olivos Rd) property last month.
He answer first call and stated he would repair once I obtained new mount bracket - which they broke and did not inform us, but reattached box in uneven position.

Mr. Arbor did a fantastic and most professional job in taking down and removing our 8 giant pine trees from our back yard! The work was difficult and in my estimation, very dangerous, but Hector and his quite competent crew, not only made it look easy, but they all did the work quickly and amazingly cheerful as well!! They were a joy to have on our property and I have recommended them to several neighbors and friends as well!

We just bought our house in San Rafael and the previous owners were growing a (dead) forest in our backyard. I called Hector on a Wednesday, and his crew showed up on time (actually early) the next day to tackle our yard. It took them less than 4 hours to beautifully trim back our Oak trees, and rid our yard of unnecessary trees/brushes/etc. They even raked up PILES of dead leaves that had accumulated over time. I will definitely be calling Hector again to tackle the rest of our yard when we are ready.
