I called up today and spoke to Peter....let me tell you. I wish I could use them for chimney cleaning, but I have an emergency situation where unfortunately I can't wait...This man was so freakin nice and knowledgeable with the situation I was telling him....and he actually listened and cared. I'm in customer service for our family business, so I can relate to him. Literally do not bother contacting this company. I live 3 minutes from this place and I was scheduled out 2 weeks in advance for an estimate. after No confirmation, I had to call up the day of, to confirm the site visit was still on. After calling I received a call back 30 minutes plus after saying tech was running late and they wanted to reschedule. This is after I took off from work
Gave this place the benefit since it was close, but just as other people in the areas said find a better place that respects your time.
I would give them 0 start if I was able too.

Made appointment, they called and said the truck broke down- ok, let’s reschedule. Rescheduled for today between 12 and 5pm, called at 4:40 after not hearing from them and was told my appointment was moved to the 30th. They wasted my time and made me go without heat and trying to get service from someone else. I PAID someone to be at my house and wait for this appointment and they don’t even call, move my appointment without communication- don’t waste your time, move on from these turkies.

My pellet stove stopped working two weeks ago. Anthony from Dunrite came and checked it out. Within minutes he knew the problem. Gave me a temporary fix until the part he ordered would show up. Saturday they came to place the part in. Prompt and professional. Stove running like a charm... Thank you

Dunrite replaced my wood burning stove and installed a new liner in my chimney same day. I have a pretty intense roof and Dunrite was able to complete without issue. Very clean install. They took great care of a friend down the street the next day as well. My Vermont Casting stove has been working wonderfully and I'm now chopping more wood than ever. Thank you Dunrite!

Horrible job! Peter lied straight to my face that I needed more than the minimal.
His guys are dirty and do not have good hygine.
He told me if i didn't invest in a chimney Liner I would jepordize my family safety. I paided $2,200 for aluminum liner, 15,000 for a stove and too boot.. after I had problems with my stove in winter, I had another company check it out and the work was Not up to code.!!
Technician asked to use my 2 xs . bathroom and stunk up my whole home.
So disappointed with this company and the owner that represent this firm. Homeowners BEWARE!

Anthony came to install my chimney liner this morning at my sayville property. I want to say I am very happy with the outcome. I first met with Anthony who is very knowledgeable in the field and explained the process. He was very honest from the start and worked with me in getting it all done right. I am truly happy with his work and totally recommend him 100%. Hard worker and cares about the customer.

Recently moved into a home with a pellet stove. Upon turning it on it made so much noise I had to shut it down. I had another company come out who couldn’t figure out the issue and was honest that he wasn’t familiar with this type of stove. Dunrite came out and immediately diagnosed the issue, and also found a baffle that was installed incorrectly. They also set up the stove and gave it its yearly maintenance. The techs were very knowledgeable about this type of Italian stove as well. Would highly recommended them as I’ll be sure to use them yearly for the stove tune ups. Thanks!

Jason showed up within the time frame given. Explained scope of work. Also complimented the work that was performed by
another company. Which is very rare. Suggested to check the boiler chimney and cleaned that one also. Removed the damper
which most other never do. Cleaned up and was done within an hour.
We also spoke about the reviews on other sites and on this one. As a business owner I understand customers frustrations but certain customers just cant be satisfied

From start to finish they were great. I'm very surprised by the negative reviews because I experienced the complete opposite from visiting the showroom to the install to the tutorial of how to use the gas stove I purchased. They were beyond neat, meticulous and very friendly and helpful throughout the experience. The install team spent almost 10 hours making sure everything was perfect before they left. Could not have been happier. Check them out at their showroom don't just go on these reviews.
