Things started out great with this company. Vidal came out for an emergency call in 2018 and we eventually replaced our first a/c unit with them (it was 20 years old). They were professional and did several inspections throughout the installation process. Never had an issue.
In 2019, we had to replace our 2nd unit and went with Fairway. It was installed in the summer and they even cleaned our ducts out in the process. Oct 2019, the new unit stops working. It takes almost 2 weeks to get the issues fixed.in a brand new unit). Almost after every maintenance after that something has gone wrong.

After my 20 year old A/C system bit the dust, and i could not get American Home shield to replace the unit, it was time to upgrade.
i went on line and had 8 contractors show up at my home that evening, selling me on why i should have them replace my system. Of the 8, 4 just took pictures and left saying they would send me a quote on the service i requested. I cannot say enough good about Vidal and his company, Fairway. I found him on Home Advisor and he called me right away. I asked him to quote removing old ductwork and replacing all of it along with returns and vents in a home I was getting ready for sale. He gave me a very reasonable quote then had his team in the house the very next day to start the demo. The two men he had working on the house were very professional and did the job in record time. Fairway was amazing from the beginning when we start talking to the office lady’s, they were amazing and so responsable. We had a great unit installed by them 2 years ago and we are really happy with the job performed here. 3 years ago Jesus came by and installed my ac unit. Then Joel came by on a routine maintenance and most certainly I'm proud of this company.
They come every 6 month and perform the duties scheduled, and clean the unit outside really good. The respect the family gives me is very satisfying, just to know when they went to my siblings house they delivered the same respect and professionalism. They were called to fix a leak in a system they installed 3 years earlier. They told my son the ducts had mold and must be changed immediately! The $100 job turned in a $9600 job!!!! They charged for insulation without installing any. They never pulled a permit while they were working. They only pulled one once I questioned it. I spoke with the… owner, Vidal and his brother Joel. Neither are licensed. They prey on the trusting people and elderly! They project a family, religious company while they rip off the community! Do not deal with them ever!!!!!!

If I could give this business less than 1 star, I would. It takes a lot for me to come to google and other sites to write a bad review about a local business but seriously I feel the urge to advice others to PLEASE avoid hiring the service of Fairway heating and cooling. The technicians who have come to my house not only lack of knowledge, but are also careless and dismissive. They have caused various structural damages to my house due to lack of proper maintenance and repair of one of my second floor AC units. I am a very patient person and they brought me to my breaking point. Late multiple times. No shows a few times without a call. Got ripped off.
The last straw was that I had a final service recommended to me which should have been done when the AC was first built (by them by the way) which costed over $2000. No one then came by to do the… service and I had to leave for the day. I ended up rejecting the service. I had checked my credit card statement a week after the incident and I did not notice any charge. But now, I happen to look back at my credit card from back then and I found out that

We discovered our outside AC unit was failing on Thursday. in the interest of due diligence we reached out to… Home Advisor to find a good contractor.. we had 3 estimates and fairway was very competitive. on paper. Vidal came to see us and he was honest. "fair" if you will. He had a sense of urgency, , and offered solutions not obstacles. Vidal identified problems with our previous design that no one else discussed. His price was completive with a lower bid but he used better equipment.

Fairway Heating & Cooling did an amazing job. My mother is an Air Force Veteran widow on a fixed income and I am a disabled Veteran. We have lived in our house for 35 years and needed the AC repaired/replaced. They were very professional and did a very neat AC installation and duct replacement. They were able to get us financed and within 3 days the installation was completed. I definitely recommend Fairway Heating & Cooling, especially in Florida.

Original rating was good but here we are over a year in and our heat still doesn't work correctly. I have a STACK of service papers. The original thermostat was a Nest and then they said it was the problem then another Nest and then they said it doesn't work well with Nest so switched to Honeywell with wifi then they took that one off and switched… to a Honeywell standard, non wifi. We have had more cold or hot nights in the house and now we both have thr flu and NO HEAT AGAIN. They were just here a couple of days ago. My guess is bad wiring which was most likely done incorrectly at install
