We hired Landmark to remove some trees and grind the stumps. Their quote was not only cost-competitive, it was also much more detailed. Each task was clearly documented. Additional to doing the work we requested, they were responsive to our concerns and went above and beyond. I'm always happy to find a company that is ethical and responsive in addition to just-plain doing a good job.

During the bidding process, Elliott actually suggested we didn't cut down a tree of concern and that we only needed to tidy the tree up for safety which saved us a ton of money. We called landmark because a previous company had come out and partially ground a stump on our property for $500 and then asking $750 to finish the work.
Landmark came out quickly, assessed the situation, and within 72 hours had a team on site to finish the job right. They took the time to grind the stump down below the level of dirt and enabled us to move forward with our project.

I had two trees in my front yard trimmed and thinned out and a bushed also trimmed and thinned. Landmark came in on time , went to work and cleaned up all the mess. Could not ask for a better group of people to do the job. Very Customer oriented, explained everything that they did and why they did it. Again, could not ask for a better group of people to do the job. I am already on the schedule for this coming October/November tine frame. Thanks Landmark Tree Service for a Great Job.

Elliott of Landmark Tree Care came the very next day after my request. He did a very good survey and walked me through some concerns I had. I found him to be very knowledgeable and personable. However, I didn't receive his estimate until two weeks later. We received 6 responses to our request, met with five of them, and received three quotes. I would say that the 7-page proposal by Landmark was by far the most thorough, detailed, and understandable of the three. When we made our request through Yelp, we made it clear that we were making the requests for budgeting purposes, for work next year

Great experience! They were out to assess our trees quickly and were able to do the work next day!! We had 3 trees that were in tricky areas that had died and needed to be removed.The Landmark team were able to get them down safely in just a couple hours while avoiding power lines, fences and outbuildings. We also had them address some very sad ornamental and fruit trees while they were out and I'm SO GLAD we did! Our Dogwoods are looking so much healthier already and we're looking forward to seeing what may come of our fruit trees. They cut the trunks into manageable pieces that we now have drying

I used Landmark to remove a large, poorly placed Leyland Cypress tree. From the start, I was impressed with their response and professionalism. The job required a crane, a cool bonus for the COVID-bored kids in the neighborhood. All were awed by the process. Landmark cleaned up the mess, and left me (at my request) a 6' stump for an art project. My only irk was that the job took a couple hours longer than they anticipated--equipment issues--and they wanted me to pay the extra cost over their quote. I compromised and split it. Aside from that, they rocked and I'd certainly recommend them

Needed a small cedar stump removed that another company couldn't due to the size of their stump removal machine (wouldn't fit through my gate). Scheduling the estimate with Emilio was easy (called on Friday, Elliot came on Monday). Work scheduled a couple days later. Elliot was scheduled to be here at a certain time, but ran late due factors out of his control. However, Elliot communicated the delay like a true professional! Elliot took care of the stump and did a great job cleaning up. While here, Elliot took the time to explain the best way (and when) to prune several other trees on our property

Had to have a large pine tree removed from my small backyard on Capitol Hill. Elliot came out and gave us a great quote, a bit cheaper, than the other quote we got. The tree was particularly difficult because it's in a very urban neighborhood, with a tiny yard and power lines under the tree. The bulk of the work took 1 full day to get the limbs and trunk down. Stump grinding took about 3 hours the next day. They left our property and the neighbors' properties clean and damage free. Couldn't be more pleased with Elliot and his crew.

After years of pruning trees and shrubs myself, I decided I needed professionals to correct the damage I had done. At the end of the day, I could not have been more pleased at the results. Elliott, Noah, George Josh worked 8 hours to remove 3 trees, prune 12 large rhododendrons, sculpt a magnificent Japanese maple, turn a gangly plum tree into a beautiful sight, not to mention prune a dozen arborvitae damaged from the heavy snow into something to be proud of.
