Services
The original owner was Milton Huston (1927-2002), along with his wife, DaOnne. The company's primary line of work was small asphalt paving jobs such as driveways, parking lots, etc. Huston Asphalt typically found most of its work in Olathe and the surrounding Johnson County area. We paved for well-known commercial and residential building contractors.
We work hard every day to ensure our customers around the Kansas City Metro area are thrilled with their projects. We have the BEST employees, office staff, customers, and vendors this side of the state line! In 1979, he became Vice-President and three years later, purchased his father's stock holdings and assumed the role of President.

Very sketchy experience. Dishonest. Unpleasant people.

Their response is far from accurate. They had ROCKS falling from their rear bumper as they drove down the highway. My car received easily a softball sized strike in my windshield as a result. After chasing the driver down for over a dozen blocks, I finally got him to pull over. He told me he did not have insurance and to call their office. After calling several times, they finally returned my calls saying they had no intentions of paying until I threatened further action with the police and DoT.
They were rude and took no responsibility

Huston Contracting has an excellent team of professionals including a fabulous landscape architect to design landscapes that meet your needs. Prior to meeting with Huston, we had been told by two other companies that what we wanted to do could not be done. Huston truly listened to us and designed the backyard of our dreams. It started with a basketball court, retaining wall, grading, and drainage. We were so happy with Huston's work that we then added on an outdoor kitchen with a new concrete patio.

I use Huston Contracting for all my projects. They take care of all the lawn landscaping needs at my personal home and at my business warehouse. I have used them for hardscapes too, outdoor kitchen, fireplace and seatwalls. The do excellent work and I recommend them to all my friends and family. Great group!

Huston Contracting did an excellent job designing and building the rock retaining walls around our new home. They also did grading and seeding for us. We will be recommending Huston to anyone who needs landscaping and hardscaping. They are dependable, care about quality, and their crews are hard working.

We are a distribution center that has 11 acres of pavement. We were in the need of a snow plowing company because we were not happy with our last one.
Anthony and Rob properly responded to my call. They were very professional and listened to what I needed. The true test was the next snow fall was the largest so far this year. They had the entire lot cleared and salted before any employees showed up.
Several employees of 20 plus years stated the lot had never been cleared so well. It is a relief knowing we are being taken care of. I will be looking for them to help with our landscaping needs as
